I know that sund didn't see any prospect at our spot in this years draft to warrant going over the tax, but next years class should be loaded with the incoming freshmen as well as the sophmores that decided to sit this draft out. Should the hawks try to stockpile picks and who should they target?

to me a sf like harrison barnes would reallly help out the team.

I would emphasize LIKE harrison barnes because Barnes will be going top 3

I think the 2012 draft is going to be loaded with good SFs and SGs. Even someone like jared sullinger who could be had with a top 10 pick would be great as a 3rd big. Having multiple picks in that draft would give us alot of flexibility.

They should be thinking and planning for guys who maybe available in next years draft because that's what good teams do.  As far as Harrison Barnes, for whatever reason, I see Marvin Williams part 2 when I look at him.  I'm just not that impressed with his game.

Early in the season I would agree with you but as teh season progressed and they changed out their point guard his game completely changed.  He impressed me the last couple of months and made a smart move to go back and improve.  He is working on his ball handling / passing skills this offseason and is trying to become a more rounded player.  I think he is more melo then Marvin but we will have to wait and see.

We will probably draft somewhere between 20 and 24. So, remember the name Robert Brown. I'll be watching his season at Va. Tech. Scouts know about him. He once played with Austin Rivers and Shane Larkin.

This is the deepest draft for good big men that I can remember in recent histroy.

Hawks need to go big.
