i think if you're a big with funny hair, for whatever reason you tend to be overrated. see: anderson varejao, chris "birdman" andersen and joakim noah.

Varejao is an excellent defender (one of the best in the league at C) and rebounder. He is not a scorer but he brings a lot of great fundamentals. He would be an excellent addition here to play along side Al or Josh as long as we have other offensive weapons.

That being said...I was reading recently that the Cavs are high on him and are not looking to trade him.

Cavs will not trade him for a expiring contract, he is part of their future.

Not arguing either way, but ordinarily it is considered a plus to receive an expiring contract in a trade.

You may be onto something/ How bout Robyn Lopez?? Seems to fit your theory.
