Who would have thought it.  Can any one believe it now?

On the 2nd of February, in a compacted season, the east now has 5 teams
tied in the loss column with 6 losses.  That's the best in the east.

Now, they're not all tied for first.  Wins go from 15 to 18, so we are spread.

Atlanta Hawks, that team no one outside of Atlanta believes in, is "Right there."

With both the Heat and the Bulls losing last night, things have tightened up.
In fact, the Heat, AKA the greatest thing ever, are tied with our lowly Hawks.
We know.  They have played all the great teams in the NBA and Atlanta
has only played "nobodies" but there's no denying where we are right now.

And yet, the Cheat and the Sixers have played more home games than our Hawks.

WAY TO GO, HAWKS!!!

2/12 is the day the all star coaches are named.  So if we could somehow be in first place in the east on the 12th then LD is the coach!!!  That would make some pundits freak out.   That would be something.

I don't care what people say about their schedule so far.  Believe in yourselves Hawks, you can win the division.

Corrected

I wonder if it's a hard and fast rule that the coaches with the best records automatically become the coach?

Haha!  I'd love to see LD call a timeout 60 seconds into the 3rd quarter and give the all-stars h#ll about their defensive effort Posted Image
