West will look to trade Battier. We can get in on the action I believe...

Rodney White is no longer needed in Denver. Mello has made him obsolete. White is still a budding player though. I think he can be obtained very cheaply...
Honestly, I would consider sending...Jackson to Denver for White and a future draft pick.

No first round draft picks, period, we simply cannot afford to trade any first rounders untill we're a winning team again.
They can have all the 2nd rounders for that trade though -)

How much will a 2007 first round pick from Philly going to be worth??
I mean unless Philly loses Iverson and totally self destructs, I can't see Waiting 4 years for a pick being more important than trying to determine if THIS team can win.
When you think about it, Boondocks, Your theory is that we should trade NO PICKS...
Well, the only pick I would trade is this Philly pick. I mean, 4 years into the future means nothing to us now. I mean, contracts will be over. This is the same thing that Babcock promoted when we traded Augmon/Long. There was a 4 year period that we had to wait on before we could cash in on the picks we got from Detroit. It turned out being Cal Bowdler/Jumaine Jones.... There were many trades that we missed out on because we were waiting for the class of 2000......
And on top of that, we really don't know if the pick will be protected then? By that time, our franchise could be history.
