Long, arching, bank shot for three.  Didn't mean to do it
that way?  Doesn't matter.  Count it anyway.

Open three for J.T.!  Missed it!  Another one!  Missed it too!
Crunch time.  They did.  We didn't.  End of story.

Missed free throws early in the game.  Would have made
enough difference.  No one notices at the end of the
game, but looking back, with only a wee little difference,
think what hitting those free throws would have meant.

Little things.  Little things add up to the difference in the
final outcome.  Our longest winning streak this season
remains the same.  One.  Almost, but no cigar.  Exciting
game, but a loss.

They did - Hawks didn't.  Remember the song from Hee Haw?

"If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all!"

A perfect theme song for this year's Hawks, don't you think>

FREE THROWS

New York ---28 -- made 21

Hawks ------28 -- made 18

That's a three point difference right there.
We lost the game by only 2 points.  If the
Hawks only make the same % of free throws as
New York, Hawks win the game!!

Make them all and the victory total is a nice, easy win.
10 extra points:  104-96 Hawks!!

Gotta get those easy ones.  They count, too.
