what was with the high passes last night? i didn't get to watch the whole game but I got to see the first quarter and the second half of the 4th quarter. In that short span I think I probably saw like 5 passes thrown over the intended target.

It was mostly to the wing but one or two were to someone going along the baseline.

I found the passing overall extremely weak, no hard quick passes. It's all telegraphed and thrown weakly. It also seems that our team has no trust in each other. They kind of mope around if one person makes a mistake or the other team scores. They don't seem to dive for loose balls, play with any sort of confidence, or go all out.

One other thing I noticed. Our offense is basically just pass to someone and they decide whether try to take their man or pass back off. There is no movement whatsoever away from the ball. There isn't enough of players running around like Reggie Miller to get open or the big guys moving either to create space. Just not enough movement overall. It's like they're playing streetball. The fact that we've won this many games with streetball is surprising.

You're exactly right.  The reason we haven't won 2 in a row is we play one good game and get over confident???  The next game they think they are showtime and start winging the ball everywhere.
I have been against DD getting minutes all year but last night would have been good to see him in there.  His minutes against Detroit weren't just Ok they were excellent.  How could he return to bench warmer again already.

That is what I have pointed to all year.  Terry Stotts doesn't seem to have an effective gameplan.

Reef is oftentimes an idiot without the ball.  He stands around.

What is with that?

With proper movement, he could easily get another 4-8 easy points.

But the problem lies with our guards.  They dribble the ball far too much and normally chunk shots.  No one is going to work hard for position or run plays if they know they won't get the ball.

One-on-one mentality is NOT going to win games.

Play.
