I've read a few things about Jamaal Tinsley from different sources.  One said that he has worked out all summer long and has gotten definition and is in great shape for the season.  One said that he's been working with Isiah all summer and he's a much better gaurd.  One said that he has worked on his defense and defensively he's much better.  All three could be true, my point is Watch out.

I think Tinsley is the next Mark Jackson. He will
be a good passer but his shooting will always
be questionable.

Tinsley has a different game than Jackson.

Tinsley makes young mistakes... I.E. Shot Selection.  However, with a good PG working with him, he will be much better as a floor general.  Just think, last yr he was a rookie. I would like to see a comparison of his rookie year with Jason Kidd's rookie yr.

I dunno since Thomas has lost so much desire
since he was a player and he didn't do much
for Damon as Damon was only a 20PPG player
on a bad Raptor team.

But I expect Tinsley will improve and will surprise
most.

Back when Isiah Choose Stoudamire over Easy Ed Obannon and made all the Toronto fans boo him.  Then he worked with Stoudamire during the yr and at the end of the season Stoudamire was ROY?

Alan Henderson was also the most improved
player not too long after that. One fluke year
doesn't mean jack as we see with Damon and
his 12 million overpaid and Hendu and his 8
million overpaid.Mike Miller also won ROY.

Both out of UA.  Both Smallish in stature.  Both had a score first mentality.

But you just dogged DS as a 1 yr wonder but over his first three yrs, his numbers make me say JT Who???

It's being in that constant rotation in PTL that's doing problems with Stoudamire.

WOW 13PPG 3 boards and 6assist...very impressive...
he gets 6APG wit Wallace/Wells/Anderson/Dale
Davis...shouldn't he be averaging about 8APG?

Notice JT's season got better as a 2nd scorer than
a first while Damon was the only scorer that team
had.None of those 3 teams even won 30 games
did they?

It's simple, you are out of touch with today's game.
You also don't understand the value to certain
players" Mr.Stack is better for the team than Kobe.".

You lost and creditability you had when you made
that statement and now you dig yourself in deeper=)

It was more so another case of bloated stats.Where
is the 8APG with the Blazers?See what playing on
the worst team in the league will do for ya?=)

You would rather a PG average 9APG and lose than
average 7APG and win.No wonder you are a Shareef
fan.No wonder you were a fan of JR Rider.

You are a fan of bloated stats.Well I actually watched
all the games last season and I believe you said you
didn't watch that many the second half.IF that is true
it is more speculation on your part.

Look at this.....Mighty Mouse 2 points againest JT's
20 something.

Catchup with today's game then come back and talk
to me.

MM had nice bloated stats because he had the ball
in his hands 40MPG with Carlos Rogers the a major
part of that team.I mean come on and the team won
like 20 games every year.Goes to show you that 8APG
doesn't promise you wins.Players that make speical
plays wins games you nimrod. That is today's game.

You also once said Marion was the next Stacy Augmon.

he would be VERY good.  His problem is that he is such a liability on defense against most players.  Have you noticed how JT seems to bust his a#$ every time we play the Blazers?  Damon just can't defend PGs who can score.

When Damon is THE MAN he has proven that he can score and that he can pass.  If you need a scorer in your backcourt and you have a SG who is an exceptional defender and ballhandler, Stoudamire is a good PG.  However if you need for your PG to be able to defend, he can be a liability at times.  I like him.  I think he's a tough little guy who gets the most out of his ability.

Damon is no scrub. My point is that when he was
"the man"despite his bloated assist total his teams
were worse than JT's.

Diesel doesn't understand the value of certain players
ESP the 3rd best player in the league Kobe Bryant.

I cross the line with my"out of touch"comments
but I still don't think you realize the value of
certain players.

I'm sorry for that comment though. That was a
dumb thing for me to say to anybody.

KJ was a horrid defender too.  Damon's size is a liability but you are right, put him with a good defending SG and he will bust a** all day.  That's what they had in Toronto. HIm and Doug Christie.    He was busting a** all day putting up 19/9.  Sorry but JT hasn't gotten to 7.0 apg yet.  And Honestly, Stoudamire had far less talent than JT has had.

sharone wright,  tracey murray,   oliver miller, anderson, willie   massenburg, tony, doug christie, alvin robertson, rogers, carlos, tabak, zan, earl, acie, and  pinckney,ed

Here's a bit of trivia for Hawks fans.

Did Acie Earl ever play for Atlanta?
