I was looking at some highlight footage of this guy and i was impressed with his outside shooting and quick release. I know the knock on him is that he is slow and will have trouble staying in front of quick guards but the guy seems to have a high BBIQ, is a decent passer and just a hard worker. If you are the Hawks do you give consideration in drafting him.
Would Ben Hansbrough be a decent pick at 48?

I'm sure that what his brother has accomplished after having the same negative things said about him should help his case but I don't see much of a need in bringing in another young PG when we've got Teague who should actually get some real playing time going forward as well as Hinrich who damn well better be playing here for a few more years after giving up so much to get him.

If I were the Hawks, I would draft Travis Leslie. He's an attack first combo guard with speed and is what i call dominique wilkins jr. Just imagine having guys like Josh Smith. Jeff Teague, and Travis Leslie on the same team, it will bring more highlights to the highlight factory.

The problem with that is Leslie will probably be gone by the time we pick. Looking at the current mock drafts Leslie is slated as a early 2nd round pick. We don't necesserily need Hansbrough to play pg, he could play shooting guard and let Pape Sy be the 3rd string pg. IMO we should look at drafting a 2 or 3 in the draft because the clips i have seen of the bigs around our pick are not that impressive. I see Ben as more of a Dan Dickau player with more athletic ability and strength.

If it isn't Travis, then I would look into drafting Iman Shumpurt.

I dont think much of him, he can shoot though, I know people are gonna look at him and think Kirk Hinrich but he is not that plus he left MS State because they had too many good guards, he did not really want to compete he wanted to go somewhere where he could be more of the man. Not the attitude I would want. I would not be surprised if we took him though because we waste picks

Ok, I can maybe see the Hawks drafting him. I just read an article off AJC.com in the Hawks section saying that Sund is looking for a shooter. I like him, but i like Travis Leslie better.
