If Hawks really wanted Enes for Smoove.

What do you think is the phone call today between Sund and Utah?
I was thinking a three way....
Smoove and Sessions to Utah.
Al Jefferson to Atlanta.
Marvin to Cleveland.
Rationale is this:
Utah has Enes.
They raise up their frontcourt with Enes, Favors, and Smoove.
Jefferson comes to Atlanta to play beside Horf.
Marvin is Cleveland's main man and Cleveland gets out of Session's contract because Kylie will need time to develop.
Cleveland spends some of the Lebron money.

Not a bad trade, but who would we be able to get as our starting SF?

Well the problem with trading for Al Jefferson is that he is not a center. He might have the size to play center, but he lacks the mentality and/or desire (and lacks greatly in the defensive abilty to play the 5) just as much as Horford does, and as we all know, Horford doesn't want to play center either. So basically we would be trading Smoove off only to replicate the problem of positional redundance, too many 4's and not enough 5's, so what would be the point in that, and why not just keep Josh in that case?

I can't see the deeply religous fans of Utah being too receptive to Smoove's antics and whining on the court. That is the one place where I just don't see a fit at all for Smoove.
I hope Smoove has a heck of year in Atlanta next year though.

I was thinking the same thing. And btw, WRONG FORUM.
Nope. The point was we were trying to trade Smoove for a C. However, Utah got Enes (and probably won't trade him) but they will trade their other C Jefferson.
Enes is an untested C. Jefferson is an allstar like C.

Position-wise, Jefferson is exactly the same as Horf: a big who is better suited to the power forward position, but plays the center position because he has to. WHY would we try to add another one of these.

...because he is one of the best low post scorers in the NBA.
I would do this deal if Utah would.
It would be nice to find a way to include Kirlinko in a s-n-t too.
