Things are slow on the message board, so I thought I'd try to come up with another plan for this offseason to liven things up a little.  This is more or less sticking with my previous themes of keeping it simple.

Sign & Trade Jamal Crawford for Mikeal Pietrus

Why Phoenix does it: They need outside shooters with their run and gun offense and Jamal gives them that.  He also gives them someone who can penetrate along with Nash and Brooks.

Why Atlanta does it: They get some value for Crawford and get a SG/SF defender who can still occansionally be a streaky shooter

Phoenix new depth chart....

Nash/Brooks
Crawford/Childress
???/Dudley
Frye/Warrick
Gortat/Lopez/Siler

Use MLE for Tayshaun Prince

Trade Marvin Williams for Drew Gooden

Why Milwaukee does it: Gooden didn't see much time in Milwaukee and Marvin comes in and gives them a solid defender at the 3.  His contract is shorter than Gooden's so they're out sooner long-term

Why Atlanta does it: They address a key defenciency from last season.  REBOUNDING!  Drew has always been a good rebounder and is a solid role player who knows his role.  While his contract is longer than Marvin's, his salary is sligthly lower keeping us under the LT.

Re-Sign Jason Collins and Pape Sy
Sign Qintel Woods and David Lighty to league min.

Teague/Hinrich/Sy
Johnson/Woods/Wilkins
Prince/Pietrus/Lighty
Smith/Gooden/Benson
Horford/Pachulia/Collins

Sign me up.  I"m glad to see others beating the Prince drum.  I think he's just what we need.   A lineup of Hinrich(or Teague)/Joe/Prince/Josh/Horford is an extremely balanced offensive and defensive lineup.

Did I miss when Mickael Pietrus got a nickname of "Prince"? Or did you miss that he was talking about Pietrus?

I was mainly excited about signing Tayshaun Prince.  I think he would have a huge impact on this team.

It's going to be a long offseason and probably no season.   That will make things a drag on HS

Prince would be a massive boost for the hawks offensively and defensively!
