This is not really a trade Idea.

But..

What would happen if we were able to trade Joe for James Harden.

To make the money work, let's say Joe for James Harden/Nick Collison.

What would happen.

I have 2 predictions:

1.  Joe and Durant win the championship.
2.  Hawks go to the Lottery.

It would def make OKC a championship contender

Harden is a nice player with a bright future but I see him as just a supporting guy

I don't mind the idea at all. It would give bigger roles to Horford, Smith and Teague; which could be a good thing.

and do I have to mention, dumping that forsaken contract? Harden is nice too

This is the problem.  Horf, Smith, nor Teague are guys who can carry a team.  Not even together.  We would be one of those head scratcher teams..  Like the Pacers.  We should be better but we're not.

I don't mind this trade.  I think Harden would be a good fit and also give us some room to make other moves.
