NJ wants D-12 Bad.
I say, let's get involved.
Trade ID #5943119
We get Brooks Lopez.
Orlando gets Horf.
I think Orlando walks away a winner.
Of course, NJ gives up some picks too.

I like Lopez's size but not his inability to rebound. I think Horford is the much better player in most facets except size and scoring. I still would consider this deal but it is too bad that Smith couldn't get us Lopez and we move Horford to PF.

Horford's BYC, as I understand it, making a trade very problematic... don't have a lot of faith that the trade machines at RealGM or ESPN are completely reliable just yet.

Nope, Brook is a big PF as well with far less talent. Easy pass. There is only two players I would trade Al for and that's Lebron or Dwight.

lol AL is not worth Lebron or Dwight..
I couldn't have said it better myself.
We have a screwed up notion about how good Al is. Al is that same guy that was owned in the Chicago series. I like Al but I rate Smoove higher than Al simply on the basis that Smoove improves and has so much more potential. Al is good but I think Lopez might be a shade better. Al is definitely the better rebounder, but offensively, Lopez actually has low post game. If Otis Smith doesn't want Lopez, I understand and is why I suggest we try to get in. I'm sure Al would be a big hit in Orlando. Lopez would almost make things right in Atlanta.

Right, Al always sucks in the playoffs. That has got to change if he wants to be the superstar he thinks he is..

Rebounding wins games. No, thanks.
No having a scorer you can count on and a defender that can get it done wins games. To see Horf not be able to put up points and then get b*tch slapped by sorry Carlos Boozer was pathetic. In all his time here, Horf still doesn't have a consistent goto move in the post. "Ya Killing me Peety, ya Killing me". We wouldn't have that problem with Lopez. He has goto moves and plays big in the post. His rebounding is not where we would want it but he can rebound better. I don't know if Horf could or wants to be a better low post scorer.

We would be in trouble defensively with this trade. But lopez always seems to kill us.
