Smith/Teague/Hinrich/Zaza
for
Paul and Okafor's bad contract and Patrick Ewing Jr.
They get out of their bad contract and move Paul and get back excitement in Smith and Teague's potential. They also get Hinrich's contract off the books next season. We get star point guard to play along side Joe and Horford (who finally moves to PF) and a tough center who rebounds and plays good defense. Win win!

So, after all that you've seen over the last three days, you rationally think that is the package that is going to pass muster with Stern?
Can't see it.

But it is going to be alot harder to make that happen unless, we are going to give them, young assets, picks and salary relief. Do you think that the ASG is going to allow that to happen.

I think the big difference is we are taking Okafor's contract off their hands too

The one advantage we have is that we are a small market team. Stern would be very happy to see Paul go to a small market.

Mark Kriegel at Fox makes a good point. Sterns decision is anconflict of interest being commish and "Gm of Hornets
