Horf and Kirk... to Detroit for
Monroe, Bynum, and Gordon.
Why...
We do it because Monroe will be a star in this league. He's not as fundamentally sound as Horf. In fact, he stays in foul trouble.. but his potential is off the charts.
Why does Detroit do it...
Clarity and plan. The Pistons have about 8 six foot players and none of them are PGs. Pulling Monroe and Gordon out of the picture clears the way for them to build on Brandon Knight + Rodney Stuckey. They also get much needed cap space. Last but not least, they get the leadership and C play of Horford.
What will Atlanta do for Monroe?
Monroe youthful struggles arise from the fact that defensively, Detroit's gameplan sucks. He's left on the island with no help most of the time. In Atlanta, he will be part of a defensive scheme. I think he's a perfect match for Smoove.
What about Gordon?
Gordon forces us to move Marvin to the bench. We play Minime ball sometimes with joe going 3 and Gordon going 2.
Trading Horford and the Captain.

I kind of like this one. Is Monroe a better center than Horford is the question i guess. I haven't seen much of him but i hear good things.
