Al would have helped, but Gasol is just too big.

He would have surely helped, but he too would have likely been punked by Gasol. Some may forget that before Al got hurt, his rebounding numbers were down.

As a team, we didnt do a great job with the collective rebounding tonight. And what's worse, we couldn't keep them away from Off. Rebounds. Until we 1)start boxing out 2)display more effort on both ends of the glass 3)rely less on the jump shot by attacking the basket--which presents more opportunities for offensive rebounds and 4)get a legit C/PF who can consistently rebound...

We will continue to struggle on the boards...Especially against teams with size and/or length.

Memphis was missing Zebo. So this excuse doesn't fly. Besides, Al wasn't performing when he got i injured.

They still have a real Center.  We need somebody who can get rebounds and play defense against 7 footers.   When Collins is the best we have and he gets hurt... well... it's sad.
I just hate to see us be a live by the three team and we get outrebounded by 16.
