I'd absolutely love this, but I don't see why Utah does it even with adding a 1st. Can't imagine a team giving us somebody respectable for Joe and his outrageous contract.

i was looking at another forum and they just wanted a serviceable player and a 2nd if that i think that's more than they can ask for but that stupid contract does really make a difference

I'd do this without even thinking twice! With the talent that Utah has in their front court (assuming Kanter pans out) they could easily lose Jefferson and be fine and Joe would still be around an 18ppg player for them. This is one of those rare deals that could actually benefit both teams... but it is difficult to see Utah taking on a max contract for a player like Joe. Then again his quiet demeanor and selfless attitude would seem to fit well in that environment.

I like it though!
