You want to know what will stop me from talking about Mayo and Teague?
Getting a real PG! We get a real PnR PG who is a playmaker. No more starting combo guards who can't score like Westbrook or Rose. Basically No more starting Lou Williams, Bobby Jackson, and JT types. Bench Teague. I will shut up about it. That's a bet.
Are you getting annoyed with me talking about Jeff Teague and Mayo?

Deeman would be a better GM. No Job experience. No problem. We can't get it right and Sund had 30 years of job experience.

You're funny. You know this will get moved? Yep...even with the gratuitous Teague mention.

You are contradicting yourself...Mayo is no point guard...at the least he is a combo guard but really he is a shooting guard. Yet you are saying no more Combo Guards.

Doesnt bother me, we all have our opinions, just most disagree with you on Mayo.

I wouldn't mind getting Mayo, as he would surely improve our team... but, as Capstone21 already said, Mayo is a combo guard who would probably fit the best within 3-guard rotation a-la 80's Pistons (Zeke, Dumars, Microwave)!

I cant front like I watch a lot of Grizzlies games, but one would think he would be the standout guard off the bench in that series against the Clips who have many flaws. Mayo couldn't considerably outplay Mo Williams, Bledsoe who's stock rose very high, or Nick Young. If he can't separate himself from those guys, I don't know how he can be a starting PG for a contending team. When he first came into the league, I'd never heard Kobe co-sign a young player off of summer gym ball, so I thought he was gonna be a stud. There still may be potential there but Lionel Hollins is a solid coach so I wouldn't say he's underutilized. As far as Teague, I don't care. He'll always be a deer in headlights when it comes to court awareness, vision, knowledge of personnel on the floor, creating passing lanes, having a voice, I could go own. Basically everything Rondo excels at. Mayo had a bad 7-game series, and that's usually an indictment of that player's ability to adjust to the same things he's seeing or should've seen over and over. That's not a good thing.
