So the Hawks balked at the SAR/CC to Ptl for Weed deal.  So be it.

What about the following:

JT/Theo/Henderson/CC

for

Rasheed/Davis/Outlaw

Why?
The Blazers get two good players in JT & Theo, but two players who are unhappy in Atlanta. JT returns home.   Henderson & Davis are nearly 1-for-1 swaps, but Davis would improve Atl's bench...Outlaw is raw, but has potential...

Hawks end up gaining some $17M in cap space next year without trading away Shareef.  Should be enough to bring in a near-max backcourt player for next year.  Not to mention the top 10 pick in next year's draft.

The Blazers get rid of Wallace and fill a need at PG:

JT/Stoudamire/Anderson is a nice backcourt;  Woods/Patterson at SF; Randolph/Henderson at PF; and Theo/Stephania at C.

Vaughn/Dickau
SJax/Glover/Hansen
Wallace/Diaw
SAR/Outlaw?
Nazr/Davis

(Notice how athletic we are...)

Not bad for either side?

Cap space doesn't mean much to me unless we have identified someone to sign (and have a good chance to sign).  If we don't make the playoffs, which I am not sure we could do with the resulting lineup, we can give up on free agents.
