problem. the insider posts may have (at long last) come to an end. it appears that ESPN has changed the coding of their pages so that one cannot copy and paste...in fact you can't even highlight the page.
if you have a solution to this, I'd be more than happy to resume posting..but for now, we're at a stand still...

oh man, i noticed that too.
i think you can do a page view and copy the stuff from wordpad that way... and i also think they might have turned the anti copy feature off. i dont know about that though

Yeah they added some javascript to the page to keep people from copying, but it only works in Internet Explorer so you can use Mozilla or Netscape or something to view the page and copy it just fine. Mozilla is free and really cool. Search on google for Mozilla Firebird.

Since I've enjoyed reading the Insider stuff here, I figured I might as well register and try to help you with this problem. If you don't want to download another operating system, there's a way around it. Just follow these steps and you should be okay.
1. View Source or Edit in Notepad
2. Save as text file to hard drive.
3. Install Textpad.
4. Use macro in Textpad to strip HTML and script tags.
5. CTRL+A (Select All)
6. Copy
7. Paste

Yeah but even with that you have to install a basically worthless program. At least with Mozilla Firebird you get the best browser available with TONS of cool features and none of those stupid javascript tricks work on it. Also you wont have to go through with editing the source every time you want to post the Insider. I stopped using IE a while back partly for this reason but mainly because as a web designer I was getting sick and tired of all the problems of IE.

I don't know all this stuff -- I just miss "The Insider."
Read it all the time here. Don't say so often, but, if you
check the number of viewere every day on this, there
is a lot of viewers.
Hope someone can work out the problems.
