Two trade, a Draft, Lucky FAcy we're there.

This is how it would have to go...

Before the 19th we get Barry and Dampiere.

Barry/James/1st (Sea) to Atlanta.  Potapenko to Utah.  JT/Nazr/2nd (utah) to PTL.

This trade works.  Utah needs a C. Barry would be our man.  Seattle gets a good C and JT (hometown favorite to play beside Ray Allen).

Second trade... Theo to GS.  Dampiere/Eschemer to US.

This trade is an upgrade of Sorts.  It's expected that Damp will opt out on GS simply to get more money in the offseason.

First round pick = Jameer Nelson.
FAcy.. Resign Barry/Damp.

The team:

Nelson/DD
Barry/Hansen
Diaw/Jax/CC
SAR/Hendu
Damp/Ekezie/Eschenmeyer

What's up with this team.

Nelson is probably the best PG I have seen since Miller at Utah.  He's the total package except for his height... But he plays better than his size.

Barry would be the OG who can handle the offense from time to time.

Damp is a big man who can rebound and get his points.

This team is balanced.  It's sorta like a Poor man's kings.

Not enough scoring and not enough D.  Barry is a good role player but he has proven that he will never be a big scorer.  He was asked to take on more of the scoring load in SEA and he has basically refused to do it.  That being said, neither Damp nor Diaw are going to give you much on offense.  Reef will be Reef and Nelson will probably be able to score as much as JT has over the years but as a rookie PG, he won't be leading that rag tag group to the Finals.  That group would be lucky to make the playoffs.

Comapring that team to the Kings is a joke!  The Kings are LOADED with guys who can score while that team has ONE guy (hopefully 2 with Nelson) who is a proven scorer.  Other than Reef, who has proven that they can score more than 15 ppg in this league?
