imagine a shotblocker like randolph with smoove, or a 6-10 ball handler like Gallinari with JJ. Or the 7 footer Deandre Jordan.

Quote:I would trade Smoove in a heartbeat. Smoove's negatives outdo Marv. The main knock on Marv is that he isn't aggressive or is too passive. Smoove gets the reputation as a great defender because of the blocks but he can't play man on man worth a damn and he is s turn over machine. He will block three shoots but turn the ball over 5 times. I think that Smoove is what he is and right now no one can say that he is way better than Smoove. But I will make this comment that neither will ever reach their full potential without a good coach. They both have alot of bad habits that the coach let them develop. Both these guys are still young but I think Marvin is more coachable.
wait.. smoove is a turnover machine for being an aggressive passer, while Marvin is not because he has butterfingers? Marvin turns the ball over in the worst possible ways ever. At least smith is trying to make something happen with a pass, MW simply just loses it..

Quote:Dwight Howard's comment after his second consecutive 20pt, 20reb game. He understands playoff intensity and how those who consider themselves the best in the game step up when it counts. Chris Paul becomes the first player in NBA history to record consecutive 30pt, 10asst, 3stl games. He gets it.These players not only get it, they prove that true stars step up, regardless of excuses about being young or lacking playoff experience.Al Horford, 20 and 10 in his first playoff game, while not as spectacular as those two, also understands that the playoffs are when players who want to be considered among the best step up their game.Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams, Josh Smith - if you want to be considered among the league's best, THIS is when you step up. not against Milwaukee in Jan, not against Memphis in Nov. the playoffs are where the true stars separate themselves from the rest.(at least) three games left to prove yourselves as stars.
agree 100%

just because Philly can beat them doesn't mean we can. Philly has played much better in the past 2 months than we have.

I saw a highlight of the Toronto Broadcast of the game Wed, and apparently Woodson was crying for the team to foul the raptors with 30 seconds left. The entire team just ignored him lol.
Yes please bring on Brown

if he deflected it, then the raps got soooooo much more time than they should have lol.

he'll probably get 5/65 out in the open market. Send him a joke offer and he won't even give us a small discount.
