hawks are 5th in FTA per game. 3rd in FTM per game. 7th in Steals, and 6th in blocks. 12th in Turnovers and 9th in forcing turnovers. Those are our recipes for winning games.

Quote:I see everyone's fav Diaw had a big game as well. They would give him away for an expirer in a heartbeat if anyone was dumb enough to take him.
i'd take him back if he didn't have that rediculous contract.
-
i'd give anyone not in the starting 5 for Sergio. I don't know why the TB is holding him back. He's as good a passer as it gets.
-
how we in 5th?? I thought we are tied for 4th.
-
i get the feeling that he'll be back. He's a warrior and won't retire from an injury.
-
the only way to go is authentic for me ;p
-
I think Ford kinda forced it a little bit, you're up 8 with 90 seconds to go, and Horford was in front of him the entire time. He should've just held the ball and took time off instead of driving it in.
Hope he's okay.
-
in fact, AJ man handled Nelson all night. I think i've heard of his name only once the entire 2nd half.
-
it's more like Charlotte didn't take advantage of the obvious mismatch. Dude could've shot over him all night but he never got the chance.

Quote:Marvin does seem to making more of an effort on the boards but it hasn't shown up in his numbers because Horford and Smith are getting so many.I think as the season progresses Marvin will get more shot attempts. Right now he seems to be a bit of an afterthought on offense at times.Smith and Marvin are both averaging 17.8 ppg but smith is taking 16.5 shots per game while Marvin is taking 10.75 shots per game.
Smith also leads the league in Blocks and 2nd in Steals.

I'm not blaming Lue as much though, he was used in the wrong situation. I've seen enough of Woodson and his clueless face w/ his mouth wide open for the past 3+ years.
-
Quote:Well Woody has confidence with Lue, and I say that I do too. Just not this game, where he was bricking.
You have confidence with him guarding someone 10 inches taller?
-
It's Mike Woodson. Detroit didn't create the mismatch with Hayes vs Lue. Woodson assigned Lue to guard him not once but twice. He also took "Captain Clutch" out when we were down 3 for friggin guess who? Lue.
I can't count how many times i said "why the hell is Lue in the game" the entire night.

the only thing u forgot is that it'll be Minn drafting Yi and Law, not us. Only way the trade will go through is if we include BOTH our picks.
-
he is NOW 246, that's because he's been training for months, since the CBA playoffs were over.
-
it reminds me of Yao's turn around jumper in the post, except Yi can get much higher elevation making it virtually impossible to block. It seems like his only move in the low post, the defenders know it's coming, yet they can't do anything about it.

Quote:The video looks good. My concerns are:Does he pass? Can he get out on the break?
If you don't know already, he was trained to be a point guard in his teens before he outgrew the position. It explains his excellent handles and passing skills.
-
i definitely have no problem with Crit at #11. Pick 3 is the difficult choice.
-
I've been following Yi since last year when he had a chance to enter the draft. Yi was trained as a Point Guard when he was younger, and suddenly hit the growth spurt. That's why he has his amazing handles and i bet his passing skills are also top notch for a 7 footer.
-
Im from China, hong kong to be exact, and i'd love it for Yi to play here. I think he could be a hybrid between Nowitzki and Garnett, Not as soft as Dirk and w/ a better touch than KG.
-
since i don't come on often, im just gonna bash you.
Barbosa IMO is no starter material. They lost to us for god's sake when Nash went down. Obviously he is no playmaker when you have 2 other All-stars and still cannot beat the hawks. He is a product of the Sun's system just like Diaw. Watch the games and you will see how many open shots and open lanes for him to drive due to the great system Phoenix has.
-
lol, where r we getting another 1st to draft law?
-
good, a less protected 2008 pick, loaded w/ even more talent

to be mathematical correct. Mav's made 670 FT in 30 games, that's 22.3333333333. Hawks have made 601 FT in 27 games, which turns out to be 22.259259259259259 per game.
