  1. LOL. Good for her! Good to see TO get a taste of his on BS. I will say, however, she has her UNREAL body and GEORGEOUS looks on her side. That's anyone else, he's not biting his lip.
  2. Just based on the clip they showed when we picked him, the dunk he performed one handed down the lane is something neither Law or Lawson could perform. Pretty sweet...
  3. I have no doubt Woody likes Flip. Other than JJ, he's the only guy that could create his own shot consistently. In other words, he bails, or bailed, Woody out with scoring on his own in our non-existent O. Flip got crunch time minutes over Bibs for that very reason. Flip, Crawford, JJ, Teague. I mean, scorers are a priority...duh, but scorers can be formed within an offense. People like Rip become scorers within an offense. Our dude's our scorers from the playground (save JJ), but he is forced into the role he has. A bunch of one on one players is a disaster waiting to happen. Jealousy, bad shot selection, obvious selfishness. We're not even considering the effect these four will have on Smoove...I love our team on paper, but Woody HAS to get something in their heads that resembles an effective way to share the ball and score. Getting easy lay-ups in the half court makes everyone happy. One quality big is hard to come by now, let alone two. Getting Zaza back is a more important issue to this team than I think people realize.
  4. Sorry bout that. I'm trying to post on my iPhone in a car.. Not driving, of course. Still hard. Anyway, don't any of you think it's obvious that Sund realizes that JJ needs boat loads of help and Woody isn't the one to do it? There will still be no offense, ever. So what does Sund do, brings in Flip. One on One player, can score, selfish. It helped! Forts off season move, Crawford... Same thing! First draft, a scoring PG.. If you wanna call him a PG! He's bringing in guys that are score first, pass later players! Will it work?? I dunno.. But to me it's like, since were keeping woody Around we better get dudes that can score, even if it's one on one for 48 minutes. Won't be any different than last year.
  5. Big I can't win a ring without Kobe, Wade, or..possibly LeBron. He's getting irritating man. I can't wait to see how he handles the winter's here in Ohio. Especially Cleveland. Orlando, LA, Miami, Phoenix are quite different. LOL
  6. I agree Flip became more efficient, but it was on his own talents. One on one, create for himself. Is it possible Sund is realizing that Woody has no offensive system, so he needs to bring players in that can score by themselves....hence, Jamal Crawford. He's a streeballin', one on one, crossover type of guy. We keep Flip, Jamal, and still run iso's for Joe...do we even need post players that can score? We complained about touches for Al...and Josh floating around the perimeter. Guys, it's only going to get worse. The positive is that Crawford can put up 15-20 a game by creating himself. But as far as getting more motion, screens, ball movement, ie. an offense. No way. Woody will preach his D, but as far as offense....just roll the ball out there and hope for the best.
  7. Who has Smooves baby pics? Seriously, that could be funny s***....
  8. Every team needs that out of a center, but we need a player down low that makes the defense work and think a little...take some pressure off JJ, maybe. Dalembert wont do that. His offense is limited.
  9. Wish list. Me too. That team wins the East.
  10. Vacation for 5 days and I come back to my favorite place and read from Diesel we should acquire Stephone........Marbury. Ughhh...
  11. Orlando is inconsistent. When you play the way they do on offense, it's a given. I haven't ruled them out yet, they haven't played on their home floor yet. The series is far from over. Kobe also has MUCH more help than LeBron. No one expected Bynum and Gasol to be as physical with Dwight as they have been thusfar. Throwing bodies at Howard is a luxury Cleveland didn't have. I think the Jameer Nelson effect has been negative. Here's a guy who hasn't played in 3 months, and he's back getting significant minutes. Not that he doesn't deserve it, he was an all star, and helped the Magic get many of the 59 wins they got. But look at the results: 1. Two losses 2. Anthony Johnson out of the rotation. 3. Alston's minutes down - 1/8 shooting last night, and 0-4 from threes. Throwing Jammer back in there is a mental drain. AJ not playing is a downer, and Rafer - was playing tremendous, in a groove, now he's looking over his shoulder and his play suffers. Bringing someone back, all star or not, is a gamble when you're beginning the NBA finals.
  12. True. Bibs can pass. I haven't watched Gordon enough to form an opinion on that part of his game. I dunno, I wouldn't be upset if Ben Gordon was a Hawk. I wouldn't be upset if Bibs was back next year. So whatever! lol
  13. It's something he'll have to consider, it's a great question. Next summer is going to be NUTS! Hard to tell how JJ fits in with that situation - My gut tells me it will be a wait and see approach. JJ's individual play, as well as the HAwks as a team, will dictate his future here. Along with, of course, the decisions that are made this summer for the team. I'm sure JJ is well aware that this is a contract year, probably his last chance at a big contract considering his age. He'll play well, IMO comparably well that earned him 3 AS appearances. That being said, if a team is willing to part with younger talent, draft picks, etc. for the chance to get JJ - go for it! The worst possible scenario would be for JJ to walk with us getting nothing in return, so Sund might feel the pressure of getting rid of our star. That's why he makes the big bucks. Extremely hard to speculate. So many factors to look at with JJ.
  14. I don't see where he would fit in, if we the roster stayed closely to what it is today. We already have the scoring and shot attempts of the bench with Flip. We all now we don't need another PF that floats around the 3 pt line, albeit primarily. Walker was a liability on defense when he was younger, let alone now, in shape or not. I'd rather keep Othello and/or Solo for that matter get those minutes if it were just for rebounding purposes. Besides, we've been down the road before with him. Let's not dig up the past. When Toine' was here, not good times - keep those memories buried, IMO.
  15. I agree. I don't anticipate the Hawks making a blockbuster trade - and if we trade Smoove or JJ, it would be a blockbuster. I think Sund is content with another year to see how our core, young guys follow up a successful year. With Woody on a one year, JJ in the final year of his deal, and Horf needing to resign this time next year, I think Sund is going to take another year to assess where is heading with the Hawks.
  16. So Gordon is different from Bibby how?? Except for being younger and a better shooter.
  17. Me too. But to people closer to the situation... http://blogs.ajc.com/mark-bradley-blog/200...-and-his-hawks/ More specifically: Mark Bradley May 6th, 2009 1:30 pm Woodson will coach the Hawks next season unless some other team hires him away. And don’t laugh: He’s respected around the NBA. LOL.
  18. You mean like scenario's in which the Hawks acquire Kobe or LeBron? :no-no:
  19. I have to agree with NJHawk. Not sure if it was a blog by Sekou, or Mark Bradley, but one of those two mentioned how well respected Woody is around the league. I remember, because I laughed when (one of those two) wrote that the only way Woody wouldn't be back in ATL in 09-10 would be because someone STOLE him away from us. Never forget that, I laughed my *ss off. Point being, to the outsiders...the LOWLY hawks have finally gained some respect the last few years. Woody will get credit for this, deserved or not. IMO, enough to land him another HC job if he was ever to leave!
  20. Rondo AND Allen...Hmmm. It is a Truth and Rumors forum. Rumors may be dominating this post. I understand trying to get younger, and I understand Allen being on the block...but Rondo???? I can't see the Celts parting with Rondo and Allen unless they we're getting a Wade/CP3 type caliber of player...
  21. No joke. Kinda funny it takes a press release from the Commissioner to speak in the place of LeBron to apologize, so to speak. Oh to be the King.
  22. Good point. It is just Simmons' opinion, take it with a grain of salt. I don't agree with all of his observations, naturally, and I'm not saying I agree completely with his thoughts on coaching in this year's playoffs. It simply got me thinking that every fan base may have major issues with the coaches of their favorite teams - not a ground breaking analysis, I know - but I really was under the impression we had the worst coach in the NBA. Honestly, I went through much of this year thinking what if....despite our success, we could have been better with a different guy at the helm. Maybe we would have, who knows? Heck, maybe we overachieved! Who's to say? So many questions that cannot be answered...but we do have some proof in the pudding. They've gotten better...we're tasting success. For me personally, I just need to cut old potato head some slack.
