  1. Worst? I dunno. During the post game press conference, Kobe described guarding Brooks is similar to defending Tony Parker.
  2. Though I fell your frustrations....prepare to be pizzed.
  3. That's tough. We pull that off....I would be ecstatic! BUT, if that scenario did happen, I imagine Woody would receive most of the credit. Torn is correct.
  4. I do! Many people wish we wouldn't have made the playoffs at all! The thinking there would be changes would be made as a result, more specifically Woody gone. As a fan, I can't think that way. I'm happy we're in the playoffs, despite all that's going wrong right now. I'm hoping we finish this year we a couple, or more, better showings vs. the Cavs...then go from there.
  5. Sitting at home doesn't set us back? Look, if we didn't make the playoffs, the same threads, and same topics would be discussed. Nothing would be different. Woody is Satan, Joe is soft, whatever. As a fan, I enjoy seeing the team in the playoffs, not matter the situation. We're in the final 8 left in the NBA. Obviously I'm bummed, but the Hawks still have a couple of games (hopefully more) to save some face here. I'm hoping they do, and happy that they have the opportunity.
  6. Wow. Are those biscuits real????
  7. I doubt it. The fact this is the NBA's best team, and having the MVP. The Cavs blew through Detroit, doing the same to us. Frankly, I don't see Boston or Orlando slowing the LeBron train. Cleveland is going to sail to the Finals. The only people who are calling for Woody's head are the die hard fans, us, and people close to the organization who sees this team play consistently. Outsiders, which is everyone else, will evaluate the entire body of work. Which we all know, the steadily improving record every year, getting to the playoffs, the Celts scare, getting past Miami...all these things are feathers in Woody's cap. Hell, in Mark Bradley's blog, he states that the only way Woodson WONT be back is if another team steals him away from us. He wrote "trust me, it could happen. Woody is well respected around the league." Wow.
  8. So, would have it been better to not be in playoffs at all?
  9. The second round of the playoffs? Playing at home? We haven't been in this position in years and we're going to run out Thomas Gardner, Mario West, Acie Law, Randolph Morris, and Othello Hunter? Naaa, that wouldn't be an embarrassment to the city or francise either...C'mon dude...
  10. I want to believe this, but after reading quotes from the players the last few days...I dunno.
  11. Smith's reaction was ejection worthy as well, but warranted. The ref. just allowed Smoove to voice his displeasure because he knew he blew the call... I loved Hubie Brown's analysis of that play. He wasn't afraid to call LeBron out. Hubie expressed his displeasure with Smoove's second foul, the charge - I'm sorry, block - called on him while guarding LeBron.
  12. When you get right down to it, this is the bottom line. We can debate everything we can be doing differently as a team, but ultimately, it is the LeBron James show.
  13. 5 years into it, and we're two games into the semi-finals and it's time to blow up? Overreact much?
  14. I can see Zaza laying someone out...
  15. Speaking of rare things in baseball...I thought this would fall into that category. http://sports.espn.go.com/espnmag/story?id=4145564
  16. Add Favre to the mix, and 6:00 pm show is all set! UGH....
  17. I agree with Hot. I think Cleveland has a clear cut advantage in Mo over Bibby. Otherwise, Dieslel may have a point, somewhat. LBJ just makes everyone around him so much better, that evaluating talent on a position by position basis is difficult.
  18. I agree with Dolfan. The last 10 games or so, Al was healthy and double-doubles were the norm. Not just 10 and 10 either. He's clearly not healthy. His offensive game needs improvement, as does most second year players.
  19. So did Columbus and about every other city on Ohio. So everyone is a witness because of television? It was a marketing scheme to make money, after he arrived in the league.
  20. Do I really have to answer that?? LOL. I will, and I have been fans of these teams since I started making memories. Browns, Reds, BlueJackets, anything and everything Buckeye, and of course the Hawks. Why the Hawks? Growing up, the Hawks were on TBS all the time...I loved basketball. Watched the Hawks religiously. It stuck, heavily.
  21. I agree that this type of offense would play to our strengths as individual players. I just question if NBA players, more specifically Hawks players, have the discipline and time to run it. 18-20 seconds to run the Princeton style offense isn't a lot to work with.
  22. I lived in Ohio since birth, and still do. The "witness" BS does not come from his days at St. Mary's. It was a marketing move by Nike that started when he came into the league. 99% of those people wearing those shirts in that arena last night probably never saw LeBron play in HS!
