I guess today would be the day we'd find out something, if true, right?

Quote:Because Joe isn't a point guard. He has a very hard time handling the small-quick pgs in the NBA. Plus, it puts too much pressure on him to do everything on offense. Yes, for short spurts that line-up is very productive offensively, the defense is not as good though.I think, baring a trade, our most productive line-up this year will beLawJJMarvinSmooveHorfordbut that won't occur often until probably January.
You can't argue with the numbers...That was the MOST EFFICIENT line-up on the floor last year...In spite of your personal opinion.
I was surprised when I saw that bc I figured Joe would get burned by other PG's as well, but we should have absolutely done that more.

JJ
Chill
Marvin
Smoove
Zaza (or insert Horford)
Last year, this was our best line-up in terms of +- vs. the other team when they're on the court (+54)

If this is our most efficient line-up for outscoring the opponent, I think it's foolish they don't play together more often.

You're going to tell me getting a hand in the face doesn't drastically alter FG%?
-
He is what he is...A back-up PG who can spot start every now and then.
Even when healthy he is nothing spectacular.
And given that he is NEVER healthy, that means it was a very, very stupid signing.
-
"if he's healthy"??
And IF my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle.
Speedy is never healthy.
It was a stupid signing, get over it.

Quote:Al Thornton. I would love to have Al Thornton on my team. Clippers got a good pick. I really feel he is going to be a force in the league. I watched most of his games (FSU homer) and he dominated the ACC. Was a one-man team most times it seemed. Possible ROY candidate.

And having seen him play.I"m no expert on him, but doesn't having a 2 inch shorter standing reach than the NEXT shortest starting C put you at a huge disadvantage?
-
And please put this into the equation while doing it...No one has refuted this point made by Exodus yet...
Horford's standing reach is only 8'11...that would be at least 2 inches shorter than any other center in the league.
I am more worried about him on defense, than him going up against C's on offense.
Ok, now enlighten me.

1) Why wouldn't they just pull the trigger now?
2) Why would Monday be the last day they'd consider it?

Like a Gasol? or more like a Haywood?

If Charlotte knew they refused Atlanta?
There's too much smoke for it to be complete BS.
Charlotte wouldn't have wasted their time.

I guess Horford and Law is OK...but we can do better with a trade...
Sometimes trades happen a few days after the draft.

Horford is younger than Yi, and is already better...What the hell else can you ask for?
-
Best possible scenario: Trade for Amare
However, if we don't I would:
Take Conley at 3, then pray a big is left at 11...If not, trade for Camby.
Why don't we end the foolishness...

Speedy,Marvin, Lo, Lue, Shelden, 2009 1st rounder for KG and a trash player or two to fill out our roster would work for me...Oh my lord just think about that line up.
Law/AJ
JJ/ Salim
Chillz/ ???
Smoove/Horford
KG/ Solo
That has ECF written all over it.
