What's wrong with plugging him in at C?

I guess we'd have to make sacrifices to have that situation work out...I'd love to somehow be able to keep Smoove at PF.
Maybe could we sign Stackhouse and give him a chance to start at SF??
Heck, maybe even Matt Barnes wouldn't be a bad option.
We'd figure out something...I think we need Josh at PF.
-
So what do we do about Small forward, point guard, and back up 2/3 if we do that, Soth?
I'd love to substitute Zaza for Marvin, but I know they probably wouldn't accept that.
-
What is that trade offer on draft night going to look like?
Honestly, I still don't think they will take it, no matter what we throw at them, but this sure is entertaining!

Quote:If we want to be a championship-caliber team we need three things:1) More Talent2) More Revenue, any way we can get it3) A new coachYi solves 2 out of 3 - not bad!
We need:
1) A PG
2) A Center

Player in this draft by just about every single scouting service out there.
Wouldn't getting the #3 player in the draft at the #3 pick be "swinging for the fences"??
I don't understand your logic at all.

Ticket sales.
If Horford gives us a better chance to win, that is all that's important.
This post along with your tanking BS really has me believing you DON'T want us to win.
Do you care more about ticket sales and public perception than our record??

I know this is a ridiculous question, but I'm having a conversation with someone who claims he plays PF more often than SF.
I said Marvin is about as pure of a SF as there is in terms of his playing style.
Please humor me and answer in the poll.

Quote:wait; #3, childress and marvin for #5 and jefferson?wow; no way i do thatu lose depth at 2/3u have to move smoove back to sf, which is NOT his best positionughi suppose if u do it, then u draft brewer at 5 to be sg/sf backup (chill's role) and u draft critt/law at 11
Are you serious?
Al Jefferson is one of the best Center's in the NBA at the age of 22.
You don't think this:
AJ/Crit
JJ/Salim/Brewer
Brewer/FA
Smoove/Shelden
Jefferson/Zaza
Is a better team than this:
AJ/Crit
JJ/Salim
Marvin/Chillz
Smoove/Shelden
Horford/Zaza
I think team one is better by far...We would finally have our dominant big man.

I doubt taking Wright is going to drive many more of us away.
I will be really pissed though.
-
Given Sothron's track record as a reliable poster, I'd say his unknown sources...We're going to find out a lot more about what is really going on from backchannels then we are from what BK says in public.
-
And unfortunately, I don't think Orlando does that trade.
-
Lofton would have him outplayed by a mile.
-
What would you think is the final offering BK is going to offer up to Orlando for Dwight Howard??
And I know this is a tough question but can you give me (in your opinion) the % chance one of these trades get done?
1) Howard
2) Gasol
3) Aldridge
4) Any of the above
From the way you're talking, it sounds like
1) 3%
2) 15%
3) 5%
4) About 20-25%

I would think that Kobe or KG getting traded (presumably to the eastern conference) would cause Memphis and Portland to want to trade even LESS.
With those players out of their conference it makes their road to the playoffs much easier, IMO.
My dream would be to end up with either Aldridge or Gasol. I REALLY hope we work out a trade for one of them.
