He expects Dennis to remain starting PG. He also believes Dwight will lead the team in rebounding this year. Thinks the Hawks might have made a trade for Ilyasova, will confirm later on Twitter.

I think Illy can be our PF/C. Remember Bud thinks those two positions are interchangeable. Say Goodbye to Moose's minutes though.
Yeah he does like them, but I'm worried he still sees Moose as our backup C..

I like the move. He can score, we get rid of Splitter and keep the Brooklyn second round pick. We still need a backup PG and C though.

Bring him home! I'm a GT fan so I'm biased but I'll take him over Delaney. Good leadership--he could really help our second unit.

I remember him single handidly beating us by dropping 30+ points when we played the Nets in the playoffs a couple years ago. I also remember seeing a lot of DNP by his name in boxscores over the years because he isn't healthy enough to play. If he's "free" I'm in but I'm not convinced he will actually play when we need him.

I wouldn't mind taking back Mack. We could probably get him for a heavily protected 2nd. Time to return the favor, Quinn!
I still don't get that trade. They said it was a favor to Mack but everyone who follows the Hawks knew we would need a back up PG after the season. And we still do need one..

I would absolutely love for this to happen. I'm a huge Paul George fan. I just don't see it happening unfortunately. Hopefully your sources are right..

Any chance we can put Baze on the Splitter plan and just let him try again next year?
-
THJ has gotten so much better on those "Korver" catch and shoot three plays we like to run. A lot of those missed the rim completely last year.

As much as I enjoyed beating them last year--and would enjoy another playoff win it's just not the same. Only thing that will make it somewhat better is knocking them out in the ECF and what are the odds on that one happening?

Until we get it right, until we move the ball every night like we're supposed to, we're going to get smacked," Kent Bazemore said. "We don't have the luxury of letting one or two guys carry the load every night. It has to be a collective effort. I don't know how many times it's going to have to happen before we figure it out."
Baze....how bout lookin in the mirror..smh..damn..
Baze is awful but at least he seems to understand what most of us see. He's really been horrible this year but I remember being moved by his press conference with Dwight. I think he has good intentions but his play can't really back up his words.
I hope they figure something out soon.

Man...not tonight. Y'all gotta play like this tonight? I'm one of the most positive people around here, but F this effort and team tonight. Our city needed some sports therapy and we get this.

The dude is playing well tonight. 7/8 on threes as I post this.

It's so funny. This is such a frustrating team to watch when they get blown out but can be so fun to watch at times. I'm glad they won but most importantly, I'm glad they set the Atlanta weekend in Houston off the right way...

It's getting kinda old to watch honestly. I'm cool with losing to most teams in the league if we play hard but I'm tired of watching the Hawks not show up.

He always does though. Some of his biggest games have come against the Hawks . . . and in Atlanta.
Just glad that Millsap has it going as well. Hopefully we'll stay close until and if Melo cools off
Which doesn't look like the case . . . 30 foot 3 as a type this by Melo.
I'm surprised more people don't want Melo here with the way he plays against us.

Man, what a game. Both teams played hard. I know @Gray Mule was shaking his head when we missed some clutch free throws. Dennis and THJ missed some big ones that could have put us up either 3 or 4 points.

Good for Paul! Who would have ever thought we were signing a guy who would wind up being our best player and a perennial all star when we signed him?

Not good at all for the Bulls. Usually that kind of stuff is edited, but that really happened.

Recorded this one and just finished it. What the hell just happened?!

Well this game sucked. I think the team had a hard time after we traded off Mo Williams. It was too much to ask to play this game after losing him.
Knicks beat Boston, 76ers beat Toronto.

Would you rather have:
Tim Hardaway Jr. locked up with Bazemores contract and no Baze (assuming we had to pick between the two and let Baze walk last year).
or
The situation we have now, with Bazemore getting paid and us having to ship Tim out for 2 second round picks? Hindsight is always 20/20 but something I have been thinking about.

I think Cleveland will still be a strong team and so it will not amount to much.
I was being sarcastic but yeah, we will be picking 30th probably. It's protected so even if LeBron gets hurt and they suck we probably don't get it.
Sixers are finalizing a trade to Ersan Ilyasova to Atlanta for Tiago Splitter and two second-round picks, league sources tell @TheVertical.
