  1. I did not watch him post game, I left the bar at that time. But it is usually easier to say those things after you have won. I still remember himleaving the court without shaking hands after he lost. Maybe i would change my opinion if I saw the post game interviews but I doubt it.

Not necessarily this post game conference. LeBron has been immature in the past but he has a lot of pressure on him. He used to be defensive about it, I think he has somewhat embraced it now. He was one of the few players that ever gave the Hawks respect too.His "big two" hasn't exactly supported him at all times. I'll be fair, LeBron obviously made the choice to play with them. It was his legacy though, not Bosh or Wade. They play poorly and the fall back story will be on LeBron. I had to watch game 6 on replay and thought the Heat lost based on chatter I heard. LeBron was horrible in the last two minutes outside of that three he made. They lose and that is the story, Lebron and his turnovers. He'd never let anybody blame his teams poor play. He puts a lot on himself and has delivered the last two years. It is easier when you win..but I feel it's been easier for him to come off as a better guy because they have won. I have always seen a good teammate in him.
  2. What character? The guy is just as bad as anyone else if not worse. He complains all the time to the refs, but it is OK for him to do it but not Josh? Give me a break, I am sick of that guy. And I hate when Josh complains.

Every NBA player complains to the refs. It happens way too much today and they are all usually wrong. Not sure how you don't see LeBron as a good guy though.Just some very recent examples. The way he handled Duncan and Pop after the game, the way he praises teammates (or doesn't throw them under the bus), he understands the game and is well spoken. I'd welcome a guy like him on my squad 24/7. Best player in the league with no issues off of the court.

  3. I was about to say congrats to Erik Spoelstra for being a much better coach than people give him credit for, then I found out that he's dating a Heat dancer and I no longer feel sorry for him...

Lol that is pretty funny. Dude has the MVP, a team dancer and lives in MIA. I can't say I'm sold on him as a coach..

But there isn't a bone in my body that feels sorry for him either. He's living a dream.

  4. And so was Ginobili. He was either on the Heat's payroll, or he had compromising pictures of Pop. He always seemed to make ill-timed passes over the last two games. I really feel bad for Duncan. He had the game of his life on Tuesday, and it was all for nothing. Then tonight, he had a couple of chances at tying the game but failed. I have to say though, Leonard did everything he could to keep the Spurs close. I'm not mad the Heat won. We were treated to two classic games in Miami. Such a shame for Duncan though.

    Manu was horrible...

  5. A lot of people hate LeBron, I do too when we play against him, but he is a great player. He plays the game right and is a level headed dude. If a guy like Vick had his character he would have been great too. I was pulling for the Spurs but I'm glad LeBron got ring #2 so he isn't as hungry next year.Lets get this offseason started!!

  6. I want Dwight here because we need a player of his calibre to help get us to the next level. He is a head case. I agree with the OP and worry about him too. What if he clowns his way through ATL? I doubt it would happen but you aren't going to convince Heat, Pacer, Knicks and Nets fans that he will behave. They are going to hate and we won't have much ammunition for a comeback until he shows he has grown up.You take the chance though and see what happens. Like someone else said, I'd rather lose with Dwight than Al Jefferson. Plus Dwight being here probably means we have Chris Paul too. Nobody should criticize any poster who was concerns about Dwight. They are 100 percent right..some of us just think the reward is much larger than any risk.

  7. I really doubt we get rid of Horford. I see why it would make sense for LAL and Dwight to sign and trade him, I just don't think is what we want.Does anyone here follow Al on Facebook? He has been talking about the Spurs and talking about working out with our rookies and Mack. Doesn't sound like he thinks he is going. I'll take Horford/Paul over Josh/Dwight 24/7. I want guys that play the game right.!

  8. He was almost our head coach so it is interesting that he is an assistant

I have a feeling the rumors were wrong and any talks they had were about joining the staff as an assistant. The Bud thing happened so quickly, Ferry must have had it planned for awhile now. Either way, it's good to see a guy that was linked to our coaching search become an assistant. Other teams were interested in him too.

  9. Paul Pierce may be the only guy that could actually take away the excitement of signing Paul and Howard.

I can not stand him as a player or person. I doubt he would even take the MLE to come here anyways. He'd take a little more money to play for a team like Dallas probably.

  10. Why Bosh turned into a small forward,3, man, is beyond me....chucking 3's????

Right?I think the only three I've ever seen him make is that one on TNT against us when they were short handed. He made the shot and sent the game to OT.
  11. I love Stephen A but I'd never take him seriously. Quite frankly I find him to be a bit of a cheese doodle.

Stephen A is stupid but entertaining.

He kinda reminds me of George Jefferson.

I haven't had a chance to listen to the clip yet but it is good that we are actually getting national attention. The more people that know Dwight and CP3 in Atlanta is a real possibility the better.

  12. This would be the firing offense for me right here. No spell-checking on a letter to the season-ticket buyers? "I can haz ticket revenue?"

And I'm sorry, I know this isn't Reef and Big Dog here, but regarding "oops, sorry, we're all outta seats!", when was the last time THAT was a problem? I can't tell you how many times I've laughed off a ticket rep with the "lock it in now in May before it's too late!" phone calls. That's telltale A$G legacy right thurr. The good news is whoever approved this letter can have his/her job back at the Tast-E-Freeze.

I can't stand how they call me and think I'm some type of idiot that will buy into their sales tactics. Even novice fans know that there is never an urgency to lock in tickets for any Hawk regular season or playoff game.

It is quite simple. If I want to go to a game, I will check on StubHub before gameday and pick up some seats for 5 bucks. There is NEVER a time I need to purchase tickets in advance because there are always plenty of good seats to be had for every game.

  13. Homerism aside, it's pretty obvious CP3, Howard and Horford would probably be the best big three in the NBA. If they really want to win it all they will both come to Atlanta. If they don't come here I'm going to assume they are more about the money.
