If he can shoot it, let him try. It only helps us space the floor. If he's not any good at it, then you can pretty much count on a player like Al to stay away from it.

And he can shoot it. He's made the shot in games before and I remember reading an article a couple years ago about him making a lot of threes in practice at a really high percentage, thirty in a row or something. You're right too on him staying away from it. Horford is a smart player, he isn't going to start hoisting up threes cause coach said you can shoot them if it's a good opportunity.

The answer is basically a no, but I wouldn't mind him shooting more threes (I'm guessing he only shoot two or so this year). Not a large increase by any means but if he could average maybe two three point shots a week it wouldn't be the worst thing. If he can slide out to the corner and shoot a couple of those he might make quite a few.

A lot of this depends on who we have on the court with him. If we need Al in the paint then he better not be stepping out. If he is roaming around the elbow, I could live with it.

It does make me feel a little better about losing game 6 at home. I also have to laugh at Woodson and his Knicks because they once again fail to live up to expectations. We haven't made a whole lot of noise in our 5 year playoff run, but the Knicks haven't done a thing and get a lot more respect than we do.

I also feel that if New York and Indiana are the #2 and #3 teams in the East right now, we have a great chance this off season to instantly become #2 behind Miami if Ferry plays his cards right.

He basically got cut when we picked up Mack. He seemed like a guy that could develop into a rotational player after we read about him after the trade.Not sure if he just didn't impress or we just really needed to pick up a guard. Either way, he has been in our system and I'm sure if we want him back there will be a spot for him.

So if you want boring, extremely slow paced and isolation exclusive offense then Nate is your man. Frankly I want NO PART of him.

We missed out on so many draft picks lol. We weren't supposed to have that pick to draft Horford. We got so lucky to keep our pick and are even more lucky to have this guy. There is no possible way you would ever root against the Boss.He might not be that top 10 player that we need, but he is a huge piece. Honestly, I feel if we get CP3/Dwight it will be because they see a winner in Horf and will lose some money for that ring.

There have been a couple of articles out there about Dwight having a new found respect for SVG after his season in LAL.Honestly, getting SVG would be huge. If he could get us Dwight, it'd be great (cause that will help us get CP3). The biggest thing would be Dwight growing up and being a mature pro and Stan might be the guy to make that happen.I'm trying not to get too excited about these rumors..it's kind of like a puzzle. SVG would be a perfect first piece.

It is going to be hard to find a name that excites all of us.Guys like Doc, Phil, JVG and SVG would make the majority of us happy.After that you have a mix of experienced coaches that don't have much going for them besides experience. And you have guys with no experience that might have more upside. I'll take any guy in the first list and be happy. I'll also take a guy with upside over some guy like Scott that has only proven he can't keep a job (unless he brings CP3 with him).

Would like to hear some of the draft gurus chime in. Neither pick really excites me. We are rebuilding-ish cause we don't have a team signed yet, but I feel we need BPA if we want to build our bench. If we want to sign Dwight or CP3 we don't have time to wait on a project.

And everyone would agree with you. But as far as a balanced roster goes, Horford shouldn't be matched up against these guys. We will maximize his talent if we can allow him to play the 4 and not have him play against guys that are 2 or more inches taller than he is.He is a good C because he plays hard and is a good player. He'd be a better player if he could play PF and have a legitimate, skilled C playing with him.Not just Boss, we'd be a better team if we had size. It's been a reoccurring theme for a long time now..if we play a tall team we usually lose unless somebody has a monster game.

We need a sexy coaching hire IMO fairly early and use that to try and draw the big names like Dwight and Paul. If I was Ferry I would already have asked their agents what coaches those guys would like to play for.

100 percent right.If we are going to be a serious player in free agency we must sign a legit coach first. These guys aren't going to come here to play under Drew. We need to show we are serious about winning and finally get a respected coach.

Like I have said about Dwight, anyone that wants these guys to play for us roots against their current teams.Dwight went out with a bang. Couldn't even keep the Lakers close and got ejected from game 4.If the Clippers blow their 2-1 lead after that epic CP3 game winner, the guy will start to think about taking his talents somewhere else. Hopefully north of south beach and just a little south of Kennesaw.

Thanks LW3. I've been waiting for this game all day long. Not a whole lot of chatter going on about the game today though. Seems like there is some type of a nervous and anxious feeling about the game tonight. I hope we build on momentum from the last two games and win a close one in Indy. If we can keep it a ~5 point game to start the fourth and avoid foul trouble I like our chances (experience).
