no sizzle and no more fan support then hawks got last year. I will watch the hawks if nothing else is on tv and this draft doesnt change that. I wanted to become a die hard hawks fan but i refuse to watch a team with a GM that makes the Detroit Lions GM Matt Millen look like a good gm. I will still watch the hawks casually if nothing else is on. I think alot of people in atlanta are the same way. I however am definately not going to waste cash on buying tickets to a hawks game. Especially when i see a team that most everyone on this board could have built and been just as good if not better.

if Yao Ming was in this draft i would think it would be spun the same way.

I think it would be spun the hawks were just interested in YI because of the money and marketability he brings regardless if Hawks liked him because of his skills or not

you cant blame the owners for not getting amare it appears if hawks said not to the amare deal it is because of belkin. once belkin has killed that trade what other option do you have but to use that pick on someone. There is nothing that makes horford look that much better then YI so why not take the player who is more marketable and that can help the hawks in the future go out and get a superstar with the extra money they get from having YI

Billy Knight deserves to be fired for his prior drafts this draft will only be the last straw. Billy Knight drafted C Shelden Williams who is a bust for where he was taken Billy Knight drafted Josh Childress who has to be considered a bust considering the players picked after him Billy Knight drafted Boris Diaw who was a bust for him and traded down to get him Billy Knight deserves to be fired no reason to feel sorry for him no other nba gm outside of the knicks gm deserves to be fire more then knight

if you belvie steve belkin is the guy who shot down the amare trade. then you better belvie steve belkin is going to be with owner gearon on wanting YI Jianlin. for the money he brings alone

I also dont see why people arent skeptical of Horford because he player with Noah and thorton two high draft picks on there own. Isnt it atleast possible noah and thorton talent is making horford look better then he really is

look at YI he doesnt look like he has seen a weight room so get him in a weight room and let him start lifting weights. AL Horford already looks like he has alot of muscle and a 68 there is no chance he can play center.

let YI come to the hawks and get in the weight room and work out. I might be wrong but i dont think he had a top notch weight room in china.
