  1. I hope we can re-sign all three of Zaza, Bibby, and Marvin, but the poster before is right in saying Woodson doesn't normally go with more than an 8-man rotation. Right now our rotation looks like this... Teague - Crawford - Johnson - Smith - Horford With Evans coming off the bench. I think we will round it up with two or three more free agent signings. One or two of them will have to be a big man and one of them will be a point guard. I can't see one of them being a small forward. But my dream offseason would be that we re-sign Zaza, Bibby, and go after David Andersen or Childress.
  2. I think re-signing Zaza is the number one priority of the Hawks. He is a much better backup center than David Andersen right now, and we're not even sure if Andersen will be that good here. I don't know what the ASG is thinking but Zaza is the only player that has an expiring contract from the Hawks that must be signed... by US!!! Make it happen, Sund... don't screw this one up.
  3. I agree with this post even though the UConn fan in me says not to. We need a backup center, not another power forward because we basically have two of those already. I would rather us spend the money on Zaza to re-sign him.
  4. jamal crawford tells you what you want to hear. i love the trade, but i've heard this all too many times.
  5. I wouldn't mind Kidd but I'd rather have Bibby to mentor Teague.
  6. I don't see how that would be offensive. But no, my favorite Hawks player is... that's a tough question lol. Josh Smith for excitement. Al Horford for hustle and hard work. And Joe Johnson because he's our All-Star. :P I think if Childress came back he'd be on top of the list though.
  7. A friend of mine thinks we will still suck regardless of whether or not we get Amare because he claims that we do not have a true center, so my question to you is... how important is it in the NBA to have a true center?
  8. Yeah, cmac was just mocking the original poster.
  9. Why couldn't you just post that one post where he withdrew his rumor? I don't think this was very serious at all.
  10. I would grade our draft a good A because we got the players that we needed and matched our offense and we got a European player who has, from what I hear, a ton of upside. The trade for Crawford was pretty good as well. I think this week was terrific. I graded it a B but now I think about it I should have given us an A because I don't think we could have done any better.
  11. Did you bother to read the replies to that post...?
  12. No reason to bold the word "1st Round". Teague's not the first 1st round PG we've had in ATL.
  13. What's this all about? Is this a computer game or real life? I can't seem to tell. (Sorry I didn't really read the whole topic, so someone please tell. Lol.)
  14. That's the thing though. The market for a power hitting righty is not very deep. Not a lot of people will want Francouer, and you're thinking about packaging him and Kelly Johnson? Kelly Johnson maybe. Francouer no. Don't expect to get anything better than Francouer if we do trade him off. It will either be for a very crappy player or a decent player with a huge contract.
  15. I'm going with mrhonline here. Acie Law was given opportunities. Maybe not as much as he would have gotten under a different coach, but he *did* get opportunities in which he rarely capitalized on. Woodson was definitely harsh on Acie though. But it's useless to argue with Cwell about Acie. With the way he talks about him, you might actually think that they are related (or butt buddies).
  16. You're at a loss? How about the fact that we only have three decent bats in the lineup and the rest of them are boom or bust's? The fact that Francouer and Kelly Johnson are on the lineup? They are automatic outs. Black holes in the lineup. On a side note, the Nationals are interested in Jordan Schafer. To that I say hell no and go find your own five-star centerfield prospect. (I would give them Schafer as long as we can package him with Francouer to get Dunn + another prospect).

  18. Did you guys hear this new song by the Game yet? Featuring a lot of other artists including Chris Brown.
  19. I have a lot of respect for Michael Jackson. Just watching some of his videos and listening to his music reminded me of how much I really liked Michael when I was young (around 4 years old, don't say any of those jokes lol). I remember dancing to the song Billie Jean. What are your fave tracks by Michael Jackson? Mine are: Beat It Billie Jean
  20. Well at least you can be more sure early on whether or not your son is gay. (Sorry for the gay joke) Did you cover your sons' eyes when Megan Fox came on screen?
  21. I would like to see that game so I can see Acie get s*** on by Jeff Teague.
  22. I'm going to wait until this gets 'released'. I don't want to watch it in the movies because it will remind me of when we watched the first Transformers movie in the Philippines, and it will just make me miss my country more. Call me crazy.
  23. There's no point in comparing the two's stats. They weren't similar players at all except they both played at Wake Forest.
  24. We should go after a point guard first (after re-signing Zaza ofcourse!) before thinking of getting yet another SG.
