  1. RIP. He was probably doing drugs.
  2. Does anyone want to chat in the chatroom or something? Just wondering what you guys are planning to do...
  3. We're going to lose tonight I think. Our lineup will make Pettite look like he's in the prime of his career.
  4. Well maybe it's just for admins only?
  5. I believe that's only for the admins to see.
  6. Yeah... like I said. He just said he doesn't want to give up the 1 spot. I don't think it'll be anything big, but I could be wrong. I'll stay tuned for the show tomorrow. I'd take Westbrook for everyone except Rubio and Jennings.
  7. I don't think Childress will be doing anything big soon. Maybe later in the summer, but not right now.
  8. Where's the quote? I know I heard that he was not willing to give up the starting point guard spot, but I don't think I heard anything about him being really upset.
  9. I hate to sound like a douche here, but why couldn't you just post this in the other Jamal Crawford topics? We have like 5 of them...
  10. Cano didn't interfere. Look at the tape again if you're so doubtful. Running along the white line isn't interfering. Whatever broadcast you were listening to must have had some serious Braves homers. And Gonzo / Soriano couldn't have 'came on' in the 6th or 7th inning. They're not middle relievers. Our middle relief is TERRIBLE outside of Medlen - who should be a late innings guy really.
  11. "Need help? Want to make a suggestion to help make us better? Post your thoughts about Hawksquawk here."
  12. And the umpires actually gave us an advantage calling Gardner out at first even though he clearly wasn't. And Cano wasn't running out of the baseline at all. You sound like an angry Braves fan that clearly can't admit that we lost because of terrible managing and a terrible bullpen against a much better, more complete team.
  13. What do you expect? You're facing the Yankees, arguably the best hitting team in the major leagues, and you put in J. Bennett with runners in scoring position against A-Rod. Terrible decision by Cox.
  14. And also... Acie Law would be a very good fit for their team. He's not bad at all. Woodson just failed to utilize and develop him properly. He looked shaky in many of the games he played for us but that may not be all his fault. And for your comment on Speedy Claxton... You must be joking when you actually think that they traded for Speedy hoping they would be able to play him. :computer8:
  15. Good bye and good luck, Acie. Hopefully now we can finally stop hearing cwell's comments of Acie Law being the next greatest PG.
  16. The reason they're happy is because getting rid of Crawford means getting rid of their problem of having two 2 guards on the same team. Monta Ellis and Jamal Crawford in the same lineup will never work out for any team. No reason for the Hawks to be worried. We are getting a good 2 guard that can compliment Joe Johnson perfectly off the bench. He can probably start for us at the point, but I'd prefer he wouldn't.
  17. Inappropriate title. :( I heard about this, it's truly tragic. R.I.P.
  18. I'm actually pretty pumped for this draft.
  19. Except Crawford will have the ball in his hands more often when he is the point guard. And we all know what that means... Crawford's shots taken per game went way up when he played the 1 for the Knicks. I'm ALL for this signing, but I don't believe Crawford can efficiently play PG. All of you who favor him there will soon be calling him 'Crawful' instead.
  20. #19 PG Jeff Teague (Hopefully Ty Lawson falls, if he does, Lawson would be here) #49 PF/C Garret Siler
  21. I still think we go after Ty Lawson. He's the perfect PG for us. STRENGTHS: - Transition play - True point guard - Ability to create own shot - Aggressive slashing mentality - Ball-handling skills - Excellent hands - Ability to get in passing lanes - Pressure defense - Potential - Unselfishness - Work ethic - High-level productivity - Assist to turnover ratio - Court vision - Passing skills - Incredibly quick - Strength - 3-point shooting percentages - Ability to catch and shoot (From DraftExpress)
  22. Just because Crawford is like Bibby doesn't mean jack s***. Crawford is not a starting PG in this league. I want to see an upgrade in defense and ball movement at the point guard position, and Crawford will not be giving us that if he starts. Like I said in the other thread, Crawford is the perfect player to come in for Joe Johnson off the bench.
  23. Yes, I approve of this trade. It gives us more bang for the buck, and why not do this trade? It doesn't seem like Woodson will ever play Acie Law anyways and Speedy's just a waste of a roster spot. Yes, this makes the Hawks better. Certainly. No, Crawford should not be a starter. He's the perfect player to come off the bench for Joe Johnson. He is not a starting PG in this league.
