  1. He went to Europe to visit his boy Josh Childress for a week or so. JChillz wrote about it in his monthly blog called 'Tech Review' published near the back of SLAM Magazine.
  2. I would love to get Sessions, as long as we aren't planning on keeping Acie. If that's the case, I'd rather us sign Sessions to the MLE and trade Acie for a first rounder. With our first pick, draft BJ Mullens. With our second first round pick, draft Terrence Williams. Maybe then we wouldn't have to sign Marvin allowing us to have more budget room this offseason to extend JJ and maybe even Horford?
  3. Yep... not on the boat with you on this one, Dies'.
  4. Lol, in those videos... Chillz just wanted to get up outta there.
  5. Childress Unmoved By Greek Fan Riots May 23, 2009 9:34 AM EST Former Hawks forward Josh Childress said on Friday that the violence he witnessed in the stands while playing in Greece won't influence his decision on whether or not to remain in Europe. "The fans are obviously very passionate because we're in the finals of the Greek championship," Childress said by phone to The Associated Press. "Yes, there was unnecessary violence. It obviously doesn't help the game. It doesn't help the players, but that will not have an effect on my decision about where I play next year." Olympiakos fans threw a flare, plastic bottles and other items at Panathinaikos' bench during a timeout at the end of Thursday night's opening game of the finals. Initially, Childress appeared greatly affected by the violence. "The violence we saw today, will make me think real hard over my future in Europe," he said immediately following Thursday's events. 7. I still think the Blazers would LOVE to get Bibby...

  9. Robinson Interested In Portland May 21, 2009 5:37 PM EST Nate Robinson is trying to find his way to Portland, but the feeling might not be reciprocated by the Blazers. "Nate’s been telling people he doesn’t feel he’ll be around New York much longer," a source told Tommy Dee. "He wants Portland, he wants to go closer to home." There is currently no interest from Portland in signing Robinson to an offer sheet, according to another source. The Blazers are focusing their search on a veteran point guard. 10. Wizards Name Sam Cassell Assistant Coach May 21, 2009 5:31 PM EST Washington Wizards President Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has named Randy Wittman and Sam Cassell as assistant coaches on the staff of Head Coach Flip Saunders. Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not released. "Randy and Sam will be excellent additions to our coaching staff, and both will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals,” said Saunders. “Randy brings a wealth of experience as a former head coach of two different teams and is very familiar with my system. I always regarded Sam as a coach on the floor during his playing days, and he brings instant credibility as a three-time NBA champion and a proven winner.” Via Press Release
  11. On a more serious note, Bibby would benefit greatly from having someone like Amare set him up... nah forget just Bibby, the entire team will benefit from someoen like Amare. I would trade Josh Smith, Acie Law, and Marvin Williams (SNT) or Josh Childress for Amare. A lineup of Bibby, Johnson, Marvin/Childress, Amare, Horford would be very good, and we would have enough money, assuming Bibby signs for a pretty low contract, to resign Zaza, Flip, and possibly extend JJ.
  12. yeah get amare then pick up steve nash so we can have the old suns lineup!!!
  13. Boozer Leaning Towards Opting Out May 21, 2009 11:23 AM EST Carlos Boozer's decision to opt out might not come until June 30th, the deadline to officially do so, but all indications are that he will test free agency. Boozer would be opting out of $12.7 million he is set to make in 2009-10, but is said to want the security of a long-term deal. He also is believed to have received assurances from Jazz CEO Greg Miller that the team wants him back in Utah. Via Salt Lake Tribune
  14. He only has three pitches: Fastball (sits around 90 but can get up to 93-94) Changeup (very effective, takes a lot of speed off... somewhere around the low 80s) Curveball (looks like a fastball out of his hand but drops out of the zone)
  15. The only songs that I like are: 3AM (He ends up ruining a part of the song though when he raps in that stupid voice of his, it's still good though) Stay Wide Awake Beautiful Crack a Bottle
  16. Hawks Have Sent Scouts To Watch Childress May 21, 2009 11:31 AM EST The Atlanta Hawks haven't had much contact with Josh Childress, who can opt out of his deal and return to the NBA. If he does return, the Hawks would have to tender Childress his qualifying offer or he would become an unrestricted free agent. "We’ve had scouts go over and watch him," said GM Rick Sund. "[Assistant GM] Dave Pendergraph has texted him. And I’ve talked to his agents – they represent other players." Via Atlanta Journal-Constitution
  17. Please post this one too! http://insider.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/i...%3fid%3d4104180
  18. I have no idea what to think of this, maybe it's just the camera angle? Acie Law nor the bloggers commented on the second picture of him being quite a bit fat... is it even him? It looks like it... I'm not sure though, what do you guys think? http://www.yardbarker.com/nba/articles/Ink...2#view_comments
  19. I'd give up Acie Law and Speedy's contract for Kirk Hinrich.
  20. Yep... I know this may look like a pathetic excuse, but the test location that I went to had just opened up. It's called All Star Driver. They replaced the Academy of Driving, a company that was sued and then the owners got arrested, for giving licenses away to illegal immigrants and giving the testers licenses even when they failed it. So All Star Driver is very strict right now and many of the students that went to take their test there also failed it...
