Yo Frank, will there be a live chat for every game? I plan on making as many of them as I can. I'm also trying to watch as many Braves games as I can this year, but it's tough seeing that I am in CT and I only get Yankees and Red Sox games up here. Anyways, even if a game isn't televised, I'll try to watch the pitch-by-pitch on MLB.com (kind of like ESPN's GameCast).

Chillz messaged someone else saying "hahahahaha. You're funny man. The Hawks are doing very well. I don't think they need me." So I guess he's probably convinced himself that he won't be coming back to Atlanta next year. How is Chillz doing overseas btw? I've always wanted to watch him, Brandon Jennings, and Ricky Rubio, but I don't really know how.

I wouldn't say that I'd rather listen to Soulja Boy. It's definitely not good, but his Crack a Bottle song was actually decent. I'll reserve my judgment until I listen to his entire album.

Medlen is a relief pitcher. And Hanson is definitely the real deal, but I just think he's too good to be using in the bullpen especially when we have a prospect that should be ahead of him in terms of being sent up.

I wanted to make this topic to keep track of Hanson and Medlen as they pitch their way up to the major leagues. They're in AA (Gwinnet Braves) right now, and today they both pitched in their season debuts. And look how they played... April 9, 2009 Hanson: 4.1 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 10 SO's, 0.00 ERA Medlen: 3.2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 SO's, 0.00 ERA ...not bad at all. Hanson only pitched 4.1 innings (probably because he was at his pitch count limit already), but he pitched very well striking out 10 batters. Like I mentioned in a previous topic, I would like Medlen sent up to the major leagues as soon as possible. A lot of fans are always overlooking him for Tommy Hanson. I hear a lot of people saying they want Hanson in the bullpen... but do they realize we have a very solid prospect in Medlen who is already ready for the major leagues?

I don't see the center being an area of great need right now. We signed Brett Romberg to compete for the starting job, and I think the coaches really like him... our OL coach has been especially high on him which is why he's been convincing the front office guys for each of the teams he's coached for to acquire Romberg. I think Dimitroff will definitely address a defensive need (DB, DL, LB) with our first round pick unless Brandon Pettigrew or Michael Oher is there for us to pick up, which in that case, will be too much talent for us to pass up IMO. I have been saying that the bullpen, middle relief for the most part, was going to be our weak link this season (again). Although the loss was quite frustrating, I still wouldn't panic... it's been over a week or so since all of those relievers have pitched. I must also add that having won the series lessens the blow of such a frustrating loss. The managing was kind of spotty. O'Flaherty pitched 1.1 innings the night before, so in my opinion, we should have put in Bennett or Boyer - instead of managing the game like it was a one or two run game. I was never a fan of O'Flaherty anyways. Which brings me to question (again) why Frank Wren never tried re-signing Will Ohman who was only asking for $2 million (c'mon... we've got to have $2 million lying around somewhere!). He was arguably our best relief pitcher last year and he would have help shored up the bullpen. With all that said, I would like to see Medlen in the bullpen very soon. I'm still not quite sure who to send down yet, but Medlen has shown that he is ready for the big leagues.

Fail. You HOMER!!! Aw God, Gandy is a terrible tackle. We signed Svitek. We desperately need more depth at the OT position, that's for sure. I wouldn't mind drafting Pettigrew!

It's Douglas not Douglass. :P Good move. Didn't see Robinson really fitting into this offense anymore than Finneran could have. He's young, but other than his rookie season he hasn't really shown us much.

In the first round I'd like Larry English or Louis Delmas. I also wouldn't mind Brandon Pettigrew. In the second round... if we don't go with a safety I hope William Moore falls to us but if not, I'm hopeful that Chung will be there in the second. Guys I don't really want include.. Michael Johnson who's a bust waiting to be selected... Rey Rey from USC is too slow and we don't need another ILB... and Matthews (I'm only against drafting him in the first because I don't think he's a first round player... he's a third round LB IMO)

I always hear that Acie is the quickest player on the court whenever he plays. Is he really that fast? If you were to compare him to any player in the NBA in terms of speed, who would it be?
