  1. Center... Hasheem Thabeet! 100% Serious.
  2. Well, if anyone wants to join, just tell me here, and I'll PM you the league ID and password. There's 6 more spots, and the draft is on August 29 or 30 at 10PM. It's a Yahoo league.
  3. Just wondering what you guys think. I've made these topics in the past for most of our 'tweeners'. Reading on some Hawks' fans' opinions, and it looks like some people think Evans is a shooting guard and some people think he's the small forward to back up Marvin. Just trying to gather some thoughts here...
  4. Hawks (1-1) @ Nets (2-1) - W 91 - 83 STATS - Pts - Rebs - Asts - Stls - Blks Johnson - 18 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 1 Childress - 16 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 0 Williams - 12 - 5 - 0 - 1 - 0 Smith - 12 - 3 - 1 - 2 - 2 Horford - 12 - 10 - 2 - 0 - 0 Bibby - 10 - 4 - 8 - 0 - 0 Pachulia - 4 - 6 - 1 - 2 - 1 Law - 4 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 Claxton - 3 - 1 - 2 - 1 - 0 Jones - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 Stoudamire - 0 - 1 - 0 - 1 - 0 West - DNP (Coach's Decision) Player of the Game: Joe Johnson I think this game wasn't as close as the score implies. The Nets started getting a lot of steals at the end. (Harris had 7 steals in the game). Other than the turnovers that both teams always make, the sliders I'm using now are pretty good. PM me if you want to know which ones I'm using, and I'll just link you. Oh, and I have a three-game streak for Horford and his double-doubles. Oh, and I guess Vince Carter was injured, he didn't play. Ager started. Next Game vs. Suns (2-2)
  5. I don't see what was so good about it in the previews. I didn't think it was going to be good at all.
  6. Hawks (0-1) @ Pistons (0-1) - W 98 - 66 STATS - Pts - Rebs - Asts - Stls - Blks Smith - 20 - 10 - 2 - 2 - 2 Bibby - 16 - 2 - 8 - 1 - 1 Johnson - 14 - 4 - 4 - 3 - 1 Horford - 12 - 12 - 1 - 1 - 1 Pachulia - 10 - 9 - 5 - 0 - 1 Wiliams - 10 - 0 - 1 - 1 - 0 Childress - 7 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 Stoudamire - 3 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 Claxton - 2 - 2 - 2 - 0 - 0 Jones - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 Law - 2 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 West - 0 - 2 - 1 - 0 - 0 Player of the Game: Josh Smith I killed this team. They kept missing their shots, and I just outrebounded them. Don't know what to make of these sliders yet. It's been see-saw from what I've played. Next Game @ Nets (2-1)
  7. The restriction on the consecutive caps letters in the thread topics are kinda annoying, lol. I can't even write NBA or Part II without it being Nba or Part Ii. :( DOLFFFANN!!
  8. Hawks (0-0) @ Mavericks - L 103 - 107 STATS - Pts - Rebs - Asts - Stls - Blks Smith - 25 - 9 - 4 - 1 - 2 Childress - 22 - 3 - 2 - 5 - 2 Johnson - 17 - 5 - 6 - 2 - 1 Williams - 16 - 5 - 3 - 1 - 0 Horford - 10 - 13 - 1 - 0 - 1 Bibby - 5 - 2 - 14 - 2 - 1 Pachulia - 4 - 3 - 0 - 1 - 0 Stoudamire- 2 - 0 - 1 - 0 - 0 Law - 2 - 3 - 0 - 0 - 0 Claxton - 0 - 0 - 5 - 0 - 0 Jones - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 West - DNP (Coach's Decision) Player of the Game: Jason Kidd (25 Pts, 8 Rebs, 6 Asts, 1 Stl) I'm now certain the game chooses who has the advantage and disadvantage before every game. Why? It's so obvious when Mike Bibby is missing three point shots that are WIDE OPEN left and right, and then on a fast break, the defender fell down and he was LEFT ALONE to make the layup and he missed it. Not once, not twice, but three times. A wide open layup missed three consecutive times with nearly one minute left in the game. It's bullshit. I'm playing on realistic sliders, but I don't think there's a slider that can fix how big of a ripoff the computer AI is. Next Game @ Pistons (1-1)
  9. I'm starting over, lol... I found these really nice sliders on Operation Sports, and I think I'll use those. I'll probably end up making a new topic so it doesn't get confusing. Sorry.
  10. Pistons (0-0) @ Hawks (0-0) - L 81 - 72 STATS - Pts - Rebs - Asts - Stls - Blks Wallace - 22 - 4 - 3 - 1 - 0 Smith - 13 - 4 - 2 - 3 - 2 Horford - 12 - 6 - 0 - 0 - 0 Law - 10 - 2 - 8 - 0 - 0 Johnson - 9 - 0 - 3 - 2 - 0 Childress - 2 - 2 - 2 - 1 - 1 Brown - 2 - 4 - 1 - 0 - 0 Jones - 2 - 1 - 0 - 0 - 0 Claxton - 0 - 0 - 2 - 0 - 0 West - 0 - 0 - 0 - 2 - 0 Blatche - 0 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 Swift - 0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 1 This game was flat out terrible. Joe Johnson went 4-16 even when most of his shooting attributes are well above 90. I really do think that the computer chooses who has the advantage in the game because for some reason Stuckey never misses a three pointer and neither does Tayshaun Prince and Rasheed Wallace. I was aiming for an undefeated season this year. Oh well, I guess not. Oh and my overall team attributes are OFFENSE: 92 DEFENSE: 100 OVERALL: 95 and I still lost by almost ten points to the Pistons who's overall is close to 90 (probably below). So frustrating... Next Game vs. Bulls (0-1)

    Madden 09

This game does not look any different than the previous Madden game. It's all the EA hype.
  12. It's the fact that he posts the most obvious s*** that is annoying. I can show you the posts that I'm talking about, but all you'd have to do is click his username and click on 'Find Member's Posts', and you'll see what I'm talking about. And I'm sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, it never said there was a new post for some reason...
  13. It's preseason. EDIT: I'll admit I didn't watch the game. I'll try and catch it on NFLNetwork tomorrow morning.
  14. Why would you want to? You can see screenshots from a random game site.

I liked the feel. I'll sim into the regular season and see if I can squeeze a game in later.
  16. WOW. I just traded Bibby to the 76ers for Josh Smith. LOL. I'm pretty much complete now. My core is Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Al Horford, Gerald Wallace, Acie Law, and Josh Childress. I made Kwame Brown a 'Role Player' instead of a 'Starter', and his morale went down to 63% but that's still pretty good and can still get higher. I'll be giving him ample playing time. Updated Roster: PG: Acie Law, Speedy Claxton SG: Joe Johnson, Mario West SF: Gerald Wallace, Josh Childress, Andray Blatche PF: Josh Smith, Al Horford C: Kwame Brown, Solomon Jones, Robert Swift Starters: Law - Johnson - Wallace - Smith - Horford Bench: Childress, Brown, Blatche, Claxton...

It was pretty good I guess. I played with just eight minutes this time and still scored a lot, so that's good. I also lowered the replays down since that's what made the games so long. I might even turn instant replays off since it kinda gets annoying sometimes. Wallace had all his points in the first half. He was cold in the second. I'm thinking of trading Bibby off for a center. He's a clutch three point shooter, but I think Law is a better passer now, and Law is a lot quicker/faster in the game. Blatche is a terrible inside player, lol.
  18. I don't know, look on the box or ask an employee in the store.
  19. There's no need to keep that many players on the roster. IMO, our final DEPTH CHART should be: Bibby/Law/Claxton Johnson/Evans/Richardson Williams/Jackson or West Smith/Solo or Hunter(battle it out) Horford/Pachulia or Morris (battle it out)
  20. I didn't let him go for nothing. He clearly did not want to resign with me. I offered him $12.5Mill/Year for a period of 6 and then 5 years, but apparently he did not want it. He signed with the 76ers for just $11.5Mill/Year for 4 years. Maybe he didn't like the fact that I resigned Woodson? :P And yes, I'll be playing this season.
  21. 2009 Final Roster PG: Mike Bibby, Acie Law, Speedy Claxton SG: Joe Johnson, Mario West SF: Gerald Wallace, Josh Childress, Andray Blatche PF: Al Horford C: Kwame Brown, Solomon Jones, Robert Swift
  22. 2008 OFFSEASON Extended Mike Woodson's contract to 4 Years. Assistant Coach's was extended to 2 years. Resigned Josh Childress to $3.3 Mill/Year for 3 years Resigned Mario West to $670k/Year for 2 Years Waived Josh Smith Traded Marvin, Pachulia, 1st Round Pick & 2nd Round pick for the current year to Charlotte for Gerald Wallace Traded 1st Round Pick in 2009 for Andray Blatche Signed Kwame Brown to a 3 Year contract worth $2.00M Per Year. Signed Robert Swift to the league miniumum of $410K/year for 1 year. I waved Smith cause he was asking for $13 Mill/Year. Yeah right.
  23. The Hawks were eliminated in the playoffs in the Eastern finals against the Pistons in Game 7.
  24. 1st Round of Playoffs: Swept the Raptors. (simmed)
