Ehh... can you tell me how Smith had one of the greatest statistical season ever? And if you haven't thought it through at all, then you shouldn't say it. Because what you just said is one of the stupidest things I've heard anyone say on this forum. No one would take Josh Smith over Joe Johnson. We're talking about an NBA Elite in Joe Johnson and a future all-star in Josh Smith... I won't even get into how many situations Joe Johnson came through and carried the team on his back. Sorry, but I don't ever see Josh Smith doing that. And I think we should just go ahead and offer Smith $12 mill/year. I don't think it's whether or not he deserves it. The market value has already been set, and anything below that value (or around it) wouldn't be considered a serious offer.

I was watching that game versus Texas, and it looked like Joba was more annoyed than hurt. I don't think it's serious, and I hope it isn't either. I root for both the Braves and the Yankees. With a house full of Yankee die-hards, it's hard not to root for the Yankees. So anyways, what do you guys think of it? Well, Boykins kind of sucks... and he's way past the prime of his career. He must of only been signed mainly because of his size. No, really... I doubt they've seen anyone as good as Boykins in Europe in the size of 5'5". Why else would they want to sign him when he only averaged 5.1 PPG and 2.7 APG?

Wait, your warranty is renewed every time you send it for replacements? I don't think I have that 'feature' in whatever agreement I have with Microsoft. When I get my replacement unit, I just get one free month of Xbox Live Gold Membership. I'm pretty sure my one year warranty still runs out around December when I got it, not next year in August a year after my repair/replacement.

The video worked for me. I think he made some good points too. However, I highly doubt that kids will learn what the 'intake' and the 'combust' of fire is when they fool around with it on their 'own terms'. The dangers of playing with fire are much greater than whatever they can learn from it. Next, pocket knives? These are kids he's talking about... NOT teens, NOT adults. Even teens should not be carrying pocket knives. I think the point he makes about a lot of these aren't meant for kids at all. I think they're meant for a much older group of people. Throwing spears? Why not just pick up javelin-throwing? Why spears? And the last one I agree with. Deconstructing appliances can really help kids out to know how things work and increases their knowledge.

It'll be a big adjustment for me to be playing with a mobile, strong (but inaccurate) armed, speedy quarterback to a relatively less mobile, comparatively weaker (but more accurate) armed, slower quarterback. I've been playing with Vick for almost 7 years now. Heck, Michael Vick is the reason why I'm an All-Atlanta fan in the first place! It's a long story, but a shorter version would be that I was playing Madden 2002, and I wanted a good quarterback. I watched my brother trade for Vick once, so I played his real team, and I didn't even know much about professional sports, but I ended up deciding that all the teams I'd root for from that moment would be from Atlanta (except UConn ofcourse because I was already a huge UConn fan lol).

I'm protesting EA Sports. I won't be buying any of their games for at least a couple of years. Tell me how you guys think of this game when you actually buy it. The game sounds good, but it doesn't look special IMO. They just added new broadcasters (they still sound boring), and added this new Madden IQ Test. Usually these new Madden releases mean it's the same game as last year except with roster updates. I'd rather not spend $60 on roster updates.

No, I'm not related. Lillibridge has shown what he can do in the majors, and he's shown that he doesn't deserve to really get stuck in the minors. If anything, he's got much more speed than Yunel, he's probably one of the slowest runners on the baseball diamond other than McCann on our team. Yunel, on the other hand, never hustles. Not only is Lillibridge younger, but he's also got more room to improve than Yunel. IMO, when you have two players like this, you trade one of them when they have value. I think Yunel has as high as value as we can get out of him so we should trade him away to let Lillibridge do his thing. And I never mentioned Frenchy, but whatever. I had a feeling that his first few years were small flukes... he strikes out way too much, and he's always chasing balls. However, I'll admit that last year I was not saying anything about trading him away because I really thought he'd bounce back if he had one or two really bad slumpy streaks.

Sorry, but he looks kind of soft to me. Most of his shots in that video look easy and uncontested. He'd easily get the junk blocked out of him if he ever came in the NBA with that jump shot down low.

You're right. PS3's graphics are not yet noticeably better than the 360's, but all the game makers have admitted that Sony's unit has a much, much bigger ceiling in terms of graphics. They just have to figure out how to utilize it. :computer8:
