Cut M-Bibby some slack, he thought the Toronto game was game 7 of the finals. Seriously, if anybody can get together when it matters most it is Bibby.....he looks like he is trying to find a second wind sometimes; might explain his broke jumper. He and Joe should take turns bringing the ball up.

It will be interesting to see, because, the pressure of last week is nothing like the pressure of this week, like the pressure of beating the Knicks is nothing compared to the pressure of beating the Celtics, if we lose to the Knicks.

This team may be in trouble, not because of who they play, but because the games mean something. Pressure will be great for the Hawks and there will be no pressure on the opponents. We know how this team handles pressure.

Team is mentally weak; you really can't deny that. Played Philly at home when Philly needed a win to clinch....loss. Could have ended this with a win over Indiana.....loss The teams coming up don't have anything to play for; but what worries me, is the Hawks do.

If this team had beaten Philly at home last week, I would agree with you. IMO, we should win tonight, but I would not be suprised if we lost.....I felt the same way about the first Philly game.

I smile just thinking about it....been waiting a long time for the Hawks to be in a game this big.

Losing to a team fighting for there playoff lives, at their house, where they are red hot is not choking. Choking is losing to the Knicks or Heat or to Boston's or Detroit's bench. I do know this, we can't afford to double anybody, including O'neal....if we can control the post without doubling I think we win this game. If O'neal gets our bigs in foul trouble early, we have to double or go zone, we may be in trouble.

You really think a lost tonight would be choking?

I don't that team wins a championship before Brand and Bibby are done so why do it? We have to be a little patient with this young team and not break it up before we have a real coach and the Pistons and Celtics are old.

You replace Smith with ZaZa and it won't take long to figure out if/how we are worse without him.

Of course, no brainer, lock the Joshs up, add at least two vets to the bench that can play.

We lose a game, there are posts about missing the playoffs, we win a game, posts about moving up to 6th seed appear...this place is wild....LOL

I really don't want to see Billups in the playoffs.

Yeah, if had figured this out earlier, like most on this board, we could have swept Philly.

I knew it, and and said so in a post lasyt night. Philly relies on teams making mistakes to be successful...they try to maul teams and get away with physical play because they can't shoot...and have nothing in the post. When we play smart we are much better than that team.

We need to make this team make jump shots....they can't shoot....play off Miller and Iggy make them shoot jumpers and limit penetration.

Don't let me see you in here tomorrow night after we win, talking about how you just get frustrated, type nonsense and now want to have JJs baby.

The game plan was all wrong tonight, we crowded them on the perimeter way too much....this team cannot make shots consistently. We should have laid off and made them shoot jumpers instead we play tight and they get penetration and easy cuts into the lane. And no, Iggy doesn't own anybody.

You are right, anytime the slightest error is made, teams will yell protest. Did you guys notice a Raptor coach throw a chair on the floor after the game!

His left thumb tips the ball slightly....they had a great shot of this last night from thie side, you could see the ball change rotation.

Ya know for some reason...I am not yet comfortable. I have seen this team too many times follow a winning streak, with a longer losing streak....just call me paranoid. Let's hope we can lock the 8th seed pretty quickly.

The ball did change paths...keyword in my post is "slightly".....that pass was not perfect it should have been thrown higher near the rim. If TJ could have caught the ball at the top of his jump instead of catching in mid elevation the bucket would have counted. Instead, the slight tip cause the ball to fall shorter. I guess I should say the ball changed rotation, it is clearly there, I could not see it at game speed but slowing it down and replaying you can see what happened....I posted this last night. We won this frickin game....NBA can't do anything about it.

Do we have any ideas the dates of of the games? I need to find which one that would likely fall on a weekend.
