Yeah, I posted this earlier, good to see I am not the only one that noticed and is suprised by 33 assists.

A three point specialist to come off of the bench, preferably one with some size.

Mike Miller is soft as drug store cotton. Plays no defense. Marvin/Zaza for Mike Miller...comical.

You guys realize that the Atlanta frickin Hawks had 33 assists in one game! I didn't think I would live to see the day that this team would have over 30 assists in a game.

I don't think midrange jumpshooters are easy to replace. Not one that is as consistent as Marvin.

Yeah, I thought the dude could shoot, what is going on with him? I know he has missed at least 6 or 7 layups this year.

We are not earning any respect from the refs, nba officiating is just horrible. We just had a night where it worked to our favor. If that was a carry on AJ then AI and Melo wouln't be able to dribble. AJ clearly pushed AI, but that goofball was sleep walking and missed the play. That loose ball foul on Marvin where him and Melo where battling was just BS.

I would put Horford on Camby, Marvin on Kenyon and Josh on Melo. Also, I would let JJ guard AI. Ya know, Melo and Marvin have similiar games. That is all.

Yep, JJ does not box out either.

Correct. Nobody expected ZZ to play like this. Lue has lost all of his quickness. Shelden looks like he takes games off, often times giving not much effort. Looks like we are better when we play eight guys, Law, Chillz and Lo off of the bench. We need some vet bench help. But one good thing, in years past this bench would have been our starters!

We will see where this team is. The next 6 games will actually tell a better story than the west coast trip. You expect tough times when you go out west. Sitting at 500 now, how many games we win out of the next six will be huge. Fri 11 vs Washington Sun 13 vs Chicago Tue 15 vs Denver Wed 16 @ Milwaukee Fri 18 @ Toronto Mon 21 vs Portland You know, everytime I talk about this team I feel like we are not getting it's best....just wish we had a vet coach.

Marvin actually does a lot of cutting, hard cuts too. But he usually gets fouled before he can get the ball by defenders trying to impede. Scroll back through games and count how many times Marvin is fouled while diving into the lane.

We need shooters regardless of which style we play...Phoenix nor Dallas would be great up tempo teams if they did not have shooters, shooters spread the floor. The problem is not Marvin. When you talk about being aggressive and attacking the basket, that has to fall on the player who takes the most shots.

If what Smoove Marvin & Horford avgs is not enough scoring for us to win, we will never win. The key is HOW we score as a team. If we move the ball get a lot of assists and make defenses work and scramble this tires teams and makes it easier to defend them. If we stand around and wait to Joe scores or passes to a jump shooter then we don't make teams use any energy to defend.

Because Gibson and Gooden were hitting open jump shots. I would have put Josh on Lebron All night and not doubled made Lebron drive and finish over Josh, even if he fouled out.

I know right, Lebron hit that jumper at the buzzer over a Lue and they acted like it was Jordan over Ehlo.

Doesn't mean we are bad, just means Cavs and Mavs are better. Both of those teams go deep into the playoffs, we are finally just beginning to learn how to win.... responding to your posts makes me feel kinda foolish, so I will stop now. Peace

If that is the case, then we are in luck because the east if full of bad ass teams. We played two good teams and should have lost. The next game is one we should win. That is how the NBA works. I just wish we had a real coach, I feel like we are not getting all that is possible out of this team.

Marvin is the best player on this team. He will eventually avg 25 and 10 and lead us to a championship just as soon as we can trade JJ. Better than Paul Bogut & Deron combined. Diesel, I would like your opinion!

Seems like Salim/Solo would be perfect for Phoenix.

So true, we need a vet to come off of the bench that can hit the open three. It is really going to become a bigger need with Al developing his post game, it is beginning to come along, so there will be a bunch of open jumpers to go around. A vet shooter that can stay healthy would help this team become very good.

The guys on TNT were saying that Damon Jones wanted a trade, a Lue for Jones swap would work and would give us someone to come in and hit three. Think Damon could help?
