Until, our guys can be consistent from quarter to quarter, I am not saying anything about playoffs. I think this team is much improved, but it is really a waiting game to see if we are tough enough mentally.

Somebody bet me several months ago that Josh and Marv would not start together....who was it...they had big chemistry at the end of last year I hope it carrys over.

Well when your PF shoots as many jumpshots as Al did...and when your 5 can only draw fouls after offensive rebounds..throw in the fact that we shot a ton of jumpshots and JJ usually shoots the floater instead of getting all the way to the rim ...it was not suprising to me. Our bigs were rarely in position defensively causing a lot of fouls. I think we will be better a getting to the line this year. Speedy does get into the lane an awful lot. If Marv and Smoove are aggresive throughout the year we should be better.

It is sad, but I don't trust anything this guys says.

Anyone notice when we beat NO last year in the second game, where Speedy dropped 29, at the end of the game David Fizdale talked to Speedy for a very long time, even huggin the dude as they chatted, friendly conversation...or would this be considered tampering...hmmmmm Good job Fizdale.

I think Speedy & JJs TOs will go down, since they are playing in the same backcourt neither will have to hadle the ball as much as last year...I think the JJs ballhandling will actually help Speedy be more effective, at least that is what I am hoping.

This is the point I was trying to make when some thought we should resign AL...what Al gave us we can get from Marv/Smith...throw in Speedy Lo Wright Shelden...and we are on course...ony thing is really no one can't predict just how good our youngsters will become....but we do see improvement.

Good Lord... I posted this a month ago. If you believe what many around the NBA believes, the game is becoming smaller quicker...that is why Smoove can be our 4 and Shelden can eventually play the 5 spot for us. We have been a joke in the media, but we are ahead of the curve...we are just young is all.

Did it ever occur to you that we are still trying to do that, but Al's value just isn't as high as some homers thought it would be? That other teams realize he is not efficient and is a poor defender? So bad that even Bernie mentions it on the radio NOW before he's even been traded; he knows he's not losing leverage because EVERYONE knows he's a defensive liability Al just isn't worth that much to teams, even tho he is the 2nd best FA this summer You don't know how right you are!
