  1. I think it is just the we suck... we are the worse team ever ....SAR is a soft punk....JT sucks...posts that get people annoyed with you. Everybody has their opinions but to say the same thing over and over gets a little old.

And as far as playoffs go, I don't get my hopes up, actually I don't make predictions like that for the Hawks anymore, we change so much from year to year these days I just wait and watch. I pull for whom ever wears the jersey because I am a Hawks fan...than doesn't mean I don't see their faults, I just don't choose to post about over and over. This board wouldn't be the same without some of your posts though.

  2. Evidently you have not been listening to the games...because his D sounds good to me he has been getting steals and deflections ..it sounds like he is all over the floor....and watching him last year his d was not bad at all...I don't know where you get the notion he can't play defense.

I think he has avg something like 1.5 TO's for his career...not bad.

But I guess as soon as he put on that Hawk jersey he became a scrub.

  3. If Big Dog wasn't benched then how in the helll is S Jax going to be benched? His career TO avg. is not bad at all actually. Soon as Reef gets back in form Jax TOs probably will not be an issue. S Jax seems like he wants to come out and get the Hawks off to a quick start, he looks to score and run early. It will be interesting to see how this team will turn out.

  4. How is it so obvious is that Ricky Davis is so much better than S Jax, but Reef just has an edge over a role player like Boozer. If Boozer were a Hawk you would be calling him a scrub and all kinds of names.

You should write what you wrote about Reef for Ricky Davis...because S Jax has a better chance of shutting down Ricky than Boozer has of shutting down Reef.

The way Lebron plays defense Dion would abuse him.

  5. I wouldn't do this trade either...but it is because I think we wouldn't get better and Indiana would win the East.

You, on the other hand, think all our players are scrubs and everybody who gets mentioned in trade talk with the Hawks are also scrubs. So if we trade scrubs shouldn't we get scrubs in return.

Also...is there anybody in the league besides SHaq Kobe T Mac

Duncan Kidd.. that you think can play?

  6. I wouldn't do it...but didn't he trade SAR once.

Stotts did say we would see more of NAZ and Theo together.

    They did start against Cleveland.

Of course, that is because of injury, I am reaching here.

    Nazr/Cato

    Theo/Hendu

    Griffin/Lee N.

    S Jax/Dion

    JT/JV

Nothing could suprise me at this point.

  7. Please...Nailon can score...Holcomb is and forever will be a scrub....with your lineup ..we have no offense from our bench....and yes Nailon does have an outside shot...no he does not have three point range but he is solid from mid range.

Diaw will be fine...he is never going to score a lot but he can do everything else fine.

I think we do need Ekezie's size and rebounding.

I think we might as well cut CC for his roster spot.

And seriously...if this was a regular season game JT would have had 30...Cavs didn't have anybody out there last night that could guard JT.

  8. "Hawks coach Terry Stotts is feeling good after one week of workouts, his first training camp as an NBA head coach. After a long summer of decisions involving his status and the additions to his roster, capped by Friday's signing of swingman Stephen Jackson, he looks forward to getting the athletic, 6-8 guard-forward on the floor Monday. Stotts says Hawks fans shouldn't expect him to see action in Wednesday's game against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jackson will have only had the opportunity to workout three times with his teammates and with eight games on the exhibition schedule, there's no reason to rush him. "Stephen adds versatility, great athleticism and toughness to our roster," said Stotts, "and he also brings a championship mentality to the team. I'm very happy, (after a tough summer) everything has worked out very well. Stephen's a great fit for us and we are a great fit for him."

  9. If we are not trying to make the playoffs this year...we can develop that young talent on the bench. If we are looking forward to the 8th spot...then even with this trade we stiill need a veteran swing player than can score....Walt Williams would work. We have to have some scoring from the bench. With this trade we don't have any except maybe Hendu.
