He has played PG in the NBA for about a year 1/2.

If he is the only ball handler that changes a lot...when a play breaks down...and ours did a lot because our players didn't cut and move at all...iJT is the only ball handler... he has to make the play...if the shot clock is in Dog's Reef's or Theo's hands we are in trouble. But if the play breaks down and we have another player that can get to the basket on his own and draw big men then we get more open shots. If you look around the league... Most good teams have at least two good ball handlers on the floor.

The difference is... they can put him in the backcourt with Jaric and have a good backcourt, because he is big and can guard opposing 2s...the problem with most of us here as that we focus on JT as a PG and his negatives...I see JT as a combo guard ...a much better 2G than point. Let's say we had a big guard in the backcourt like Diaw who could handle...how much would JT score if he didn't have to handle the ball...I say close to 25 points a game with Dog gone....How much is that worth?

Really....well before Aol, and its financial troubles let JT walk ...they will basically give Dog or Theo away for a nose hair trimmer and a crack ho. Jt stays period. Please don't bring up the fan issue...we know about the fan issue.

JT will be here....Kasten and Knight will match any offer, they feel they have to because JT is the mascot for the Hawks right now. He is the community face for the Hawks and he can score 20-25 a night jumping around with a smile on his face. Until we find out Ira and Dion have committed somewhere... we don't know. I actually think Knight would prefer proven veteran swing players (Lucious Harris Jim Jackson types) rather than Ira DJ or Dion.

JT.. every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Maggette is a leaper with a bad knee and a erratic jump shot. He can score ....but I don't think he can fill it up like JT...JT just needs somebody to handle the ball so he can focus on scoring.

If JT is so high calibre we need to sign him...seems like nobody sees the talent and potential of JT on this board....most of us think that JT can't get any better. If we get rid of JT we will regret it. Honestly Miami doesn't have anything I would want. I rather have a healthy DJ than Wade.

That is a horrible lineup....an old washed up point guard and a selfish showboat. no thanks I wouldn't have Ricky Davis on my hoop it up team. That is real good ...Dog and Davis ...just imagine the ball movement...it wouldn't exist. Not to mention Ricky loves to run his mouth at officials and disappears routinely. Scored a lot on a bad team...I hear all of you talk about these type players...Davis is one of them.

See what most people fail to realize is that sure u can point out flaws in IRA and DG and JT individually...but they can become a very good TEAM with Theo and SAR.

Big Dog and Ham should be gone.

Dion is aggressive and that is what we need. Sometimes we need a player to put his head dpwn and take it hard to the rack...it makes big men think twice about trying to take a charge later in the game. The only flaws in Dions offensive game is he leads with the ball when going up in traffic..should lead with that strong body...also he has to learn to hit wide open no dribble jump shots...seems as though he has to take a dribble or a pull up jumper to be comfortable..I do like the way his is handling the ball at the top allowing JT Dog and Reef to screen and come off screens.

Yeah get rid of Dog...start Ira Newble at SF....get a Brent Barry or Alvin Williams to start with JT...get a veteran swingman like Person or Jim Jackson to come off the bench...then hire Mike Fratello and we will be in the two years away from the finals.
