  1. Yikes. Throwing in the towel on tonight. I usually rush home for tip off but I think I will just play this in the background and stay finishing up this pile of work on my desk
  2. I love coach, I love our team. But if this happens, we are going to get drubbed big time tonight. I really need big games from Lou, JC, Clint and Gallo tonight....wait, that's actually a good bit of fire power. Against the top 1 or 2 teams in the East though, it's not nearly enough.
  3. Correct, because we own the tie breaker over both squads, we are sitting on a 3 game lead essentially with 10 to go. Celtics and Heat play each other TWICE as well. Nothing is guaranteed as anyone could end up running the table, but it is unlikely that both of the Heat and Celtics can pass us. We may go on a small skid due to injury, but if everyone comes back like they claim they will in the next week, we have an opportunity to finish really strong to end the year.
  4. I've accepted that unless something catastrophic happens, we are playing the Knicks in round 1. Whether we have homecourt or not is up for debate. But the 4-5 matchup is our likely destiny. And it's going to be a tough matchup. Both teams playing hotter than the top 3 seeds. Hungry, young, energized. Yeah, it going to be a good show.
  5. The entire 2011-12 team was a who's who of one year cameos. TMac, Stackhouse, Pargo, Radmonovic, Dampier, and Willie Green. That was such a fun team to watch play.
  6. Doesn't it seem like as soon as one guy comes back from injury, we lose like two more every time? We went from missing Bogi, Hunter, Dunn Get back Bogi, Cam goes out Get back Dre, he goes back out Then Snell, JC, Gallo, Trae goes down, here comes Gallo Dunn comes back, down goes Kev, and BG in the same game. There has been zero overlap of a healthy roster this season, just a rotation of bodies every night
  7. At this point just give me Snell and Hunter and we will be ok at SF.
  8. I was going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe he meant star that was like marketable and super relevant to the mainstream. But then I was like, Mike Vick.... Deion.... Nique......Hank Aaron...... And if it is just basketball, then duh Nique for sure. Spud had a moment, Dikembe, Joe for like 2 seconds. Never say never though, Ben
  9. It comes and goes fast man, no worries. Just pop some tylenol along the way. Good luck
  10. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Everyone in the NBA gets theirs, and 90% get more than they probably ever should. If we want to be a franchise that competes at the highest level, we can't be trying to get hometown discounts just because we drafted well and talent develops in to their potential. JC has done nothing wrong but play well. The team sucked last night, JC shot 6-8. Was he the problem? Maybe he should have been more selfish and demanded the ball. Maybe he should have caused a scene in the huddle and yelled at the coach for more touches. He is a pro's pro. He is a team first guy. He did not make it about himself when he probably had a right to do so. Don't blame him for the lack of touches.
  11. I dont believe any of it until I see an upgrade on the injury report.
  12. Was that the flu like symptoms that kept Lou out too?
  13. Basketball Gods trying to help us out hopefully Kev and BG are fine. Bulls and Suns take care of business to keep us right where we left off to start the day. Only the Celtics gained ground on us tonight. But I will take it.
  14. Thank goodness for the Suns and Bulls tonight. Avoided additional insult to injury. Back where we started on Wednesday .
  15. Capela getting punked? He may need to rest that back. Also, I have never seen so many off balanced fadeaways in the middle of the paint, Detroit is really bullying us right now.
  16. What the hell are we doing on offense tonight, this is terrible
  17. Haven't seen long arms and broad shoulders picking up full court since Dennis Schröder
  18. 4 straight offensive turnovers.
  19. It's about to be some ugly basketball now that Dunn is in. Not in a bad way either. He is a true disruptor, and junks ups the opposition offense. Its about to be chaos out there lol
  20. When I saw the lineup of Gallo, Clint, Solo, Bogi, and Lou pop up on the tv I was like, damn, it's really about to go down. Nobody in that group was going to beat themselves. The Bucks were in trouble and they didn't even know it.
  21. That's legit. I wish I listened to it. I really hope they are right. At this point I'm just hoping for guys to make it back in time to build some chemistry. But in the meantime, the available bodies are still doing a great job for us.
  22. My scenario is based on the bubble and the fact that the Blazers, Suns, Spurs, Grizzlies we're all within striking distance, but only the Grizz and Blazers got to face off for 1 spot, despite the Suns being the hottest team at that time and having a tied record with the Grizzlies. Why not let them battle it out too.
  23. Nah that was the bubble play in scenario. This year is all about seeding at the end of the year. I think it should be like what you said which would be a hybrid. You can only qualify for the play in if you are within a certain amount of games. My twist would be that it determines the participants both ways. So if 7 is too far ahead then they dont even have to be included in the play in. And if 8-11 are all with 2-3 games of each other then it gets expanded that way, but only for 1 available spot instead of 2. Reward the teams that took care of business and separated themselves from the pack. If no team finishes within striking distance then no need for a play in. This aint little league, everyone doesnt get to participate just because. And you aren't safe just because you backed in .5 games ahead of another team.
