  1. Clippers NEEDED Rondo much more than we needed Lou. They were desperate for a PG
  2. We desperately need someone who can draw fouls down the stretch and get us some cheap easy points.
  3. He and Gallo should have some good chemistry together already.
  4. I said they aren't comparable as they play separate styles. Swapping the 2 diminishes our big man rotation by adding a perimeter forward to a crowded rotation and removing our small ball 5. It's not about tiers for me, its roster construction. We would have Capela as the only competitive big man on the roster, and he misses games frequently, which Collins helps to offset by not missing any games. I think it creates a bigger hole than people realize.
  5. I have said it before, but knowing how to get open and make yourself a target is a skill in itself. AG, because he is more of a wing than a big, does not have the same feel for setting and slipping screens, or positioning himself in the post to get entry passes. JC isn't just a recipient of Trae's passing, he makes it easy for Trae by being a great target with great hands.
  6. Remember how stoked we were to get him?! I agree, he is still feeing out his role. Plus, Im sure his complaints were back when we were struggling. He seems comfortable now with the 2nd unit.
  7. Collins and Gordon are not comparable to me. Gordon is a combo forward similar to a Julius Randle. Collins is a big. So using criteria like ball handling and passing when Collins is a post player and Gordon is a perimeter Forward, is not useful to me. As far as fit. Swapping the two leaves us needing another Center or low post guy to spell Capela as you most certainly cannot use Gordon as a small ball 5 the way you can with Collins. All of our bigs tend to get banged up pretty easily and miss games. Collins is our only player to not miss a game all season. His value is in his versatility from a roster and rotation stand point. We are pretty deep on the wings, Gordon would only be used as a 4 and nothing else. I feel him and Dre are redundant almost.
  8. They are a day or so late with this revelation am I right?
  9. Smh Draymond best defender ever? Yeah right lol
  10. Damn we let a win slip away. That 3rd quarter we let the bench get way too much burn
  11. Kevin "No Contact" Huerter throws it away instead of going up strong
  12. Raptors about to snap Houston's losing streak.... what happened to them, they have looked BAD ever since the break.
  13. I dont know what kind of energy and effort they will be giving since its still a regular season game, BUT, if they are actually locked in, that size, length and IQ is going to throw him off his rhythm for sure. I still think traps are the best defense against Trae, but as far as 1 on 1 defenders go, you won't find too many better than these guys.
  14. That's a scary thing to read if you're Trae. Shows how much they respect you as a player, but would definitely have me annoyed if not a little intimidated lol Hopefully Kev or Snell (Dre?) can exploit the cross matchup this leaves them with.
  15. Jay, I'll concede this debate. I truly do not care enough about the Rockets or Cousins. I disagree with jumping on Cousins in this instance only. He still is washed up, he still is emotional. I have no personal preference to support him or Wood.
  16. And we see where that has gotten them
  17. I don't want him, I just dont think he is wrong for complaining about how that shit show of a franchise went about using him. If he and AD could coexist as starters, they could have let him and Wood try it out.
  18. I would complain too, they would rather start 6-6 guys at PF than let Woods and Cousins run together. That organization is still jacked up from the Morey way of thinking.
  19. Just saw that, apparently we were insulted by their offer https://clutchpoints.com/nba-trade-rumors-hawks-insulted-by-mavs-offer-for-john-collins/amp/
  20. I saw that coming. If you just line up the W-L records top to bottom across both conferences, we only have the 12th best record overall. Only one team, Miami, has a worse record than us and was ranked higher. I was fully prepared to be 15th behind GS and BOS based on their typical bias.
  21. OO missed a couple, BG 1 game, but that might be it
