  1. Tatum Mitchell Bam Fox JC Anunoby Kuzma Ball Markannen White Allen the rest
  2. Cavs are not as organized as we were during our rebuild. They didn't/don't have a plan or long term vision. They haven't even identified the centerpiece of their rebuild. Is it Sexton or not? And if it is Sexton why was he on the trade block? Is it Garland, or is Mobley going to be that guy for them now? They have had 3 top 5 picks compared to our 1. (We had to manufacture another top 5 pick via trade to get Hunter, but that was due to having the resources to do so at the time, so not luck or accident) Our vision was always clear, and the moment we had Trae we knew it was time to build around him. We didn't spend another lottery pick on a guy that was undersized to play next to him. We filled out the roster with complementary players. Cavs have a bunch of young talent without any role or premier skill to lean on outside of Okoro's defense. They are treading water until they are forced to offload these guys when they're contracts come up.
  3. They're really selling low on Julius here. Putting Barrett over him? Lol Ok. Good luck with that fellas lol
  4. Cleveland doesn't get that ring without Kyrie. Lebron may have taken the pressure off of him but Kyrie still made some big plays out of nothing on his own. If you are talking pure point guards in the league. It's CP3 and Trae at the top of the list. And obviously CP3 is about to age out of the convo. If you're talking overall playmakers, then you open the conversation to guys like Lebron, Harden, Luka and Jokic. Their list appears to be overall PG's so I'm not mad at his spot. I think of the players who play PG has to be Curry and Dame at the top, then guys like Kyrie, Trae, CP3, Russ, etc.. all pretty close behind. I can live with 4 based on the criteria they seem to be going by. CP3 could be just as mad at 5 as Trae is at 4.
  5. Whenever I see people say they would trade a guy to free up minutes for others, it suggests that we won't be getting any player(s) of value in return. It is as if we are just clearing money and minutes off the books to make life easier for the front office and players. I'm not a fan of that plan at all. I'd rather keep talent around and force guys to compete with each other, than clear a way for one over the other. If trading Bogi or Gallo means getting someone or something back that can help us win a title then great. Otherwise I'm not giving anyone away right now. We are deep. What we lack in a "Big 3" we make up for with having the next best 8-9 players between us and our opponent. Our superpower is being 2 deep at every position with above average starter quality players. Why give that up now, when we don't have to? Hold Bogi and our other assets and see if there is a big time trade out there to IMPROVE the roster. We aren't the Atlanta Sprit Hawks anymore. Stop counting pennies and worrying about having too much talent to play or pay for. Think big, like winning a title, and stop worrying about whether draft picks can get enough minutes. Let these kids earn it and beat out their competition. If they can't overtake Bogi out-right then what makes you think they are ready to start on a Finals team?
  6. The good news is that we control their Bird rights and the owner has pledged to pay up if it means we are a contender. So it just takes patience and discernment from Schlenk which he has shown. If a guy wants more money and a bigger role, if he is a James Harden that is sacrificing then pay up. But if he is a Schröder that has an inflated view of himself then you may need to let him walk or trade for assets It's on us to have the discipline to make the right money choices.
  7. Ahhhhhhhh I get it now. I'm slow. My bad guys. I messed it up lol
  8. Let's let the season play out. If all 15 main lineup guys stay healthy all season long than sure, load manage. But injuries and foul trouble do happen, and having a deep team keeps us from having to struggle through those times. You trade Gallo and you are a John Collins injury away from Solo playing 20 mins a night again. The Gallo thing to me has to be for a blockbuster deal and not just to clear a path for JJ to play. We potentially have a championship window right now. Gallo's experience and skillset is something you need in a run to the chip. In the NBA, until proven otherwise, vets are who help you win rings. I love our young guys as much as the next. They will be exciting as hell to watch. But the Lou's, Bogi's, Wright's, Gallo's, Clint, Dieng and Solo's of the world are going to be the ones who help our core navigate the postseason and get over the hump. Add to that, Gallo may be the guy on the team who wants a ring the most. He was one of the toughest voices in the locker room preaching urgency last season. We still need that energy.
  9. This YouTube trade proposal is the definition of low quality information. I wouldn't even have watched it if it wasn't posted on here. Guys, we are better than to give attention to these NBA fanboys using our team and player's names to make clickbait hot takes. That's all it is.
  10. Teague still hasn't found that dog, but he has managed to last 12+ years now in the NBA. If he was aggressive he could be one of those Lowry types, a sometimes All Star player, instead of a one-time All Star
  11. Bud just won a title, I think you have to at least put him in consideration over a Steve Nash
  12. Trae-34, Wright/Lou-14 Bogi- 28- Kev- 20 Dre- 24, Cam-24 JC- 28, Gallo- 20 CC- 28, JC-4, Gallo-4, Dieng- 12
  13. The Black statement jerseys are the best jersey hands down.
  14. Im not a fan of either really. I just remember when all of this got started thinking, Giannis is not this picture perfect guy people make him out be, at least as it relates to Harden specifically. I'm the same with Curry. I never rooted for Lebron until that series when he was down 3-1. Curry was doing the most with his antics, throwing his mouthpiece and stuff. That's when I flipped and was like, I don't care what the media says, this guys is kind of a jerk, and Lebron would have been dragged if he did the same thing (at the time). I was really happy that the Cavs were able to come back and win that series. Warriors just rubbed me the wrong way from that point on. I try to be objective, and I tend to play devils advocate a lot. When too many people agree is when I start asking more questions.
  15. Rockets did that. Harden did not name Giannis out of his mouth, and he only went after the media and their narratives, not Giannis specifically. He had just come off a historic season that was up there with MJ type numbers. And everyone was riding Giannis. I understand his point too because they are now doing that with Luka. They are naming him a preseason MVP every year. After a while, whether he deserves it or not, he will get an MVP by virtue of being in the conversation for so long. All he needs is a season that is good enough to warrant it, regardless if there are others with similar numbers. They are building his case now, in advance. Back to Harden. In every soundbite or interview except the one with Rachel Nichols, Harden went out of his way to avoid naming Giannis specifically and intentionally tried to downplay any negativity. Giannis was the opposite. He came for Harden on multiple occasions by name and typically unprompted.
  16. Yes, when Rachel Nichols asked him to respond to Giannis saying he wasn't a passer. Harden said "I average 10 assists a game, I don't see the joke. It's easy to be 7 foot and just run and jump.... blah blah blah. " Point is that was a response to Giannis
  17. Nothing against Giannis but he is the one who started in on Harden first. He went out of his way to throw shade at him. Harden's comments towards Giannis only came when prompted in an interview to respond to what Giannis said. Giannis basically said he picked Kemba over Harden because he wanted someone that could pass. Ignoring Hardens 10 apg, more than Giannis or Kemba at the time Then he came out in an interview saying their gameplan was to give the ball to whoever Harden was guarding that game. Unprompted and specifically called him out. Now, Im no Harden fan but where I'm from those are dang near fighting words on the court. Harden tried to lay low every time Giannis threw shade. He finally made one soundbite and he became the antagonist because Giannis was the player the league wanted to prop up at the time.
  18. This view is much better than the original leak. The black elements and the orange ball are richer and not washed out like the previous one. The sleeve and collar striping is 3 toned instead of 2. I wish the pacman logo still made an appearance and I would have appreciated side striping but the oversized Hawk makes that next to impossible. Also, how long are we going to go pushing Atlanta instead of Hawks word marks. I was ok with it at first but now it seems like we are going out of or way. Hawks looks so good on our jerseys. Id really like to see it more.
  19. Wow, not even just a big, but a Center based on that company lol Zion surprises me too especially since they want to use him as a point forward. He at least will pull the trigger if left open.
  20. I find it very interesting that even those Cleveland fans don't want Simmons. Dude is becoming the greatest player ever that nobody wants on their team lol
  21. All playoff teams are supposed to get a 5th jersey starting last season per what was reported https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/2021-nba-earned-edition-jerseys-grades-for-all-16-new-uniforms-including-the-lakers-celtics-and-nets/
  22. If anything it was Kerr's fault for not telling KD to stop acting like a little B**** and grow the hell up. Did anyone else see this video, please watch if you want to see how soft KD is
  23. Siakam and JC are the exact same height with and without shoes 6'8.25 barefoot, 6'9.5 in shoes That being said, I think as an individual talent Siakam is better because of the shot creation. But JC is the better fit on the roster with Trae. Siakam is a better scorer, JC is a better shooter especially in spot ups. For what we run and what compliments Trae JC is it. If John was 2 inches taller and could anchor the post defensively this would be a no brainer.
