  1. With the 58th pick in the draft, the Marvy Marv's select Hawksquawk's favorite controversial prospect JAREN JACKSON JR \ This pick is all about upside and fit. There's other players I wanted but I decided to take the risk and take JJJ just in case someone else gets him. JJJ imo is just a tremendous fit next to Jokic. He provides much needed interior defense and shotblocking. Offensively he provides much needed floor spacing. All in all I just love his skillset moving forward with this team. PG: Jrue Holiday SG: Jimmy Butler SF: Gordon Hayward PF: Jaren Jackson Jr C: Nikola Jokic
  2. things are getting tough. still not sure what type of player I want to pick yet
  3. With the 39th pick in the draft, the Marvy Marv's select: JRUE HOLIDAY Holiday is another elite defender who offers a versatility on both ends. Pairing him up with Butler would make for a fantastic duo on defense. Offensively, he provides solid play making and shooting ability. He has turnover problems when playing as the lead guard but he should fine on this team. He was at his best when he wasn't asked to do too much in terms of ball-handling. With Butler and Hayward being able to handle the rock, he should be able to replicate his excellent play this last season. PG: Jrue Holiday SG: Jimmy Butler SF: Gordon Hayward PF: C: Nikola Jokic @lethalweapon3 you're up!
  4. With the 34th pick in the draft, the Marvy Marv's select GORDON HAYWARD Hayward is coming fresh off a gruesome injury so it's definitely a risk. However, with reports stating that it was a clean break, i'm confident that he will be able to come back strong and produce at all-star levels again. Hayward is a player who can play with the ball in his hands or off ball. He's an excellent cutter and can he can run off screens for catch-and-shoot situations. It makes it easier to integrate his skillset into the offense because he doesn't need to have the ball in his hands at all times. Defensively, he's solid. Not a liability and is able to hold his own on that end. It's important to surround Jokic with solid defenders to help take the pressure off him. Hayward will be slotted at the 3 and Butler will move to the 2. PG: SG: Jimmy Butler SF: Gordon Hayward PF: C: Nikola Jokic @pimp you're next!!
  5. Tatum or Green were definitely the 2 guys I was hoping to select with my next pick. RIP
  6. Damn Covington gone already. Was hoping he'd go somewhere between the 4th or 5th round. He's an excellent fit next to Jokic
  7. With the Hamilton signing I think Bembry is getting the boot. Anderson has ties with Pierce
  8. Yall think this move has any meaning for Bembry and Anderson? I feel like one of them may get cut
  9. With the 15th pick in the draft, the Marvy Marvs select: JIMMY BUTLER This was an easy pick. Butler is one of the best 2-way players in todays game. Butler may not be a superstar type offensive talent but he gets the job done. 22/5/5 averages on 47/35/85 shooting splits. He's also terrific at getting the the FT line, as evidenced by his 7.2 FTA. With that being said, the main selling point here was his defense. He's a terrific defender who will help shore up my teams perimeter defense. Great versatility on that end and can guard 1-4. I'm not quite sure where i'll slot him in right now, seeing how there's still so many great players available. Butler being able to man either the 2 or 3 offers great flexibility moving forward in the draft. @lethalweapon3 you're next!
  10. So are the signatures a premium member thing? I don't see an option to enable or edit it under account settings. The only text box I get it "About Me"
  11. With the 10th pick in the draft, the Marvy Marvs select: NIKOLA JOKIC At just 23 years of age, Nikola Jokic is a big who can do it all. Run the offense through him the post, stretch the floor, and best of all; pass the rock. It'll be fun building a team around this exceptional talent. @pimp You're next!
  12. I would be absolutely shocked if this team even reaches 20. New coach, not very talented, and 1st year of this squad getting acclimated to the new offensive system.
  13. Morris got waived, with the addition of Anderson, I think Cleveland may end up getting waived as well.
  14. Actually I see Alex Len is still available. Schlenk should at least take a shot at him
  15. LOL pretty sure I read that Dwight's charlotte teammates were 'sick and tired of his act'
  16. Any young centers or pf/c hybrids out there? Front court is lookin thin
  17. I see. Yeah I should be fine since I usually lurk around HS on both pc and phone.
  18. I agree that this move makes no sense at all. Only reason I could think of is that a Dennis trade must be on the horizon.
  19. It's only a matter of time before they start calling for Trae Youngs or coach Pierce's head
