  1. what the ending to that game showed me was that the NBA needs to look into re-implementing the hand check rule in basketball. 21 fts for rose is ridiculous. at that point the pacers are trying to play perimeter defense with their hands tied behind their back. rose wasn't even looking to run plays, just go to the hoop and get a foul call.

its about time Rose got 21 freethrows. He actually earned them IMO, he was getting hammered whenever he went to the rim. its the pacers fault for not making the adjustments to keep him outta the lane.

  2. We need Marvin at SF majority of the time. He can get by Turk and hopefully will be able to draw fouls on d12. Joe will be fine at SF too, AS LONG AS HE DRIVES TO THE RIM AND LOOKS FOR A FOUL. Smoove needs to play within his skill set, and Horf might be the biggest key. If his jumper is on, that will help free up the paint for other slashers on our team. Kirk needs to be the defensive stopper that we asked for at pg if we hope to contain Jaqueer Nelson.

  3. I see it, it's quite clear as well. He can play at an elite level. He just can't create his own shot. We seen what an elite PnR PG can do for a PnR PF in Boozer, West, and K. Malone and like Malone, Horford is an elite PnR PF. He scored 20 and 10 in 28 mins and can't even create his own offense. That's amazing. Just imagine if he had CP3, Deron, or Nash.

Josh never had the mental makeup to be a superstar and he's too flawed to become a superstar. He's stuck in the 20-45 range as a player. Smith is the most talented player, I think we all can agree on that. I've said in the past that no PF in the NBA can do all that Josh Smith does today as well as he does it but no PF in the top 10 does as many things wrong as Smith does.

Superstars can create their own shot and dominate a game when they need to. Horford can't do that.

  4. Did you hear Jameer Nelson say "see you in the second round" after losing to Chicago? No way in hell is Jameer going to disrespect our Hawks. Hopefully this cocky, disrespectful b*tch gets put back in place by our hawks. COME ON HAWKS, I HOPE THIS STATEMENT FIRES YOU UP!

  5. i felt bad for Joe tonight. You can tell by his body language and his face during timeouts that he was clearly frustrated with himself. I hope he puts his act together for the playoffs because we really need him.

  6. This guy is bashing bibby to the extreme. His deffense is in fact horrid but you can't just blame it on him. Lebron was gettin torched by durant and blown by numerous times. bosh can't guard the post, and Wades D has been pretty bad whenever i watched the national tv games

  7. I usually bash Josh but I think he's easily our best player. Joe is not the same, doesn't get to the line, can't shoot, and can't drive. Horf is consistent but he can't create his own shot and can barely get to the free throw line atleast 6 times a game. Now you look at Josh who can: drive, pass (when hes being smart), good post moves (unorthodox looking though), can get to the ft line at will if he DECIDES to drive, same rebounding ability as horf, and is shooting a decent percentage from 3 land. (higher then joe) (.3% less then craw). This is just my opinion, whats yours?

    FINISH STRONG HAWKS!!!!

  8. Kevin Martin. He can get to the freethrow line at will, shoot a high percentage from midrange to beyond the arc, drive to the hole, and he is very quick. The only thing that is holding him back is defense.
