Eh, all this worrying about playoff seeding doesn't hold much weight with me. Anywhere from 1-6 is gonna be a pretty even matchup in my opinion.
-
Teauge looked extremely solid in summer league. He is fast and quick of the dribble. If he wants to become a premier PG in the NBA he still has to work on the turnover problem, he also has to refine his shot. I dont think he will ever become Rondo, but maybe a few all-star game are in this guys future.

So I am guessing you forgot to take your pills? Or do you just like making sensationalist threads?

Craw is not a "really good player".
He scores points and that is it. He is below average defender, rebounder, passer, pretty much everything else.
First craw is not a below average defender, he is average at worst. I was not aware that he was supposed to be under the basket gathering rebounds. He is also a perfectly adequate passer. He scores us a ton of points and is clutch when the situation calls for it. He is a very good player.

We have more than 3 really good players? Who?
Craw, JJ, Smoove, Horf
I count 4

I sincerely hope that CLE gets an 8 seed and Miami gets a 1 seed in the playoffs next year, and CLE sweeps the series. Honestly the only team I hope wins the championship besides then the hawks is cleveland.

What in the world gives you the idea that Collison, Gasol, or Melo even want to play in Atlanta? I have hear not a peep out of Melo's situatuion. New Orleans isnt giving up a potential starter in Collision for cheap. Hell, even Gasol is likely to stay with the Grizzlies. So what makes you so confident that you can put this team together, when you would have a tough time pulling those kind of signings in NBA 2k10?

The simple fact is he cannot commit to something that he doesnt have a full understanding of yet. He doesnt know what will happen in free agency to it is better to play his cards close to the chest and wait.I understand they cant sign yet ..I want a commitment.. I really dont want Joe back at all in the first place
It does not make our franchise look any different if JJ take 30 million less to play with LeBron. Because a lot of other superstars are leaving their franchise for the chance to play with him. Hell, Wade has a ring and even he is thinking of joining Lebron in Chicago. That doesnt make me think that the Heat are a weak and incompetent organization, So why would others look down on us as weak if JJ goes and plays for someone else?..but I also dont want to look like a fool of a franchise when say Lebron signs somewhere else and Joe wants to go there for 30 million less ..how would that look on our franchise that a player took 30 mil less just to go play with another player that has never WON a ring eitherSimple..Joe we have offered you 120 million..we would like a answer within a day ..If not it was good having you here we are going to look in another direction
either by trading for Paul or Melo..we should not be handy capped by a player that doesnt want to be here
Let Joe mull his options without a max contract on table
If we dont have a contract on the table then there is nothing for JJ to think about. He simply takes that as a franchise that is uninterested in him and go somewhere else. We put the Max out on the table to show interest. I simply dont understand why we have to have a commitment from JJ in the time of one day. Is our franchise that needy and insecure that we cant let our players talk to other teams? Do we not have confidence in our body of work over the past 3 years? And who says the JJ doesnt want to be here? Because he is thinking of going to other teams suddenly he is not interested in Atlanta anymore? A person doesnt have to angry at a franchises fan base or front office to leave, he just has to think his opportunities are better elsewhere.

Because they want to keep JJ.why do you think Hawks went right off the bat with the MAX OFFER?
Thats not the Hawks decision to make, it is JJ's decision to be courted by a variety of NBA teams. If he wants to go somewhere else the that is his choice, the hawks have done the only thing that any organization can do, offer the money and hope a player accepts.why not they just let Joe Johnson be courted by everyone in the NBA
Lets be serious here. there is only one SF on the market that any team gives a damn about and that is LeBron. Gay knows that he isnt going to get recruited to a team any better the the grizzlies, who honestly have a decent team right now. So he accepts the offer because that is his best option. In all honesty, the Hawks might not be JJ's best option. He is at the last big contract of his career, he doesnt have a championship, and he is getting offers from everybody with a wallet. JJ wants to do what is best for him, and by all means if that means going to a town with Lebron and Bosh to win a title, then let him go....The Hawks put the offer on the table they are serious about keeping him just like Grizz did with Rudy Gay and you see how QUICK he accepted that .
So the Hawks are an organization that lets their players have free will? Honestly are you suggesting that we chain him up in the locker room and bring him out for the game. Because that is the only way what you just said makes sense.Hawks now look like a soft organization that allows there own free agent to mull things over especially when we could GIVE HIM THE MOST MONEY
Let me reinterate what many people have said, and you have obviously not listened to. NBA free agents can not sign yet. Now please, please stop overreacting...if he was truly happy here or if he wanted to be back he would have signed.Im actually glad he hasnt signed now what we need to do is pull the offer back and then wait to see how free agency plays out- 1

Why is everyone acting like a petulant child. We offer Joe a contract and it is his decision to make, HE is the free agent, HE gets to take all the time HE wants because it is HIS process. Why would JJ agree to a contract from the Hawks when he hasnt even had meetings with all the teams interested in him? Thats probably the worst decision he could make. Why does everyone seem to think that JJ owe's something to the Hawks? And is just being a jerk by not agreeing to our max deal? What does JJ owe us? We game him a contract, he did his part in living up to it, now it is his time to be rewarded, then suddenly everyone wants to call him a bad guy because he wants to think this through. I swear some of you guys are the biggest over reactors in the world.

Basically, JJ is a pretty good shooter with people in his face all day long. In a motion offense with constant passing you will see a lot more open shots for joe. With more open shots there are obviously going to be more points. In point, if this new motion offense works then I will guesstimate 24-25ppg for JJ. Whether that is worth max money is for everyone to decide for themselves.

Either put him at 3 or trade him for a traditional shooting SF and be over with it. I personally think Smoove can play the 3 but the outcry by the fanbase would be substantial. So this conflict needs to get resolved, and it will most likely happen through a trade.
-
I think Smoove could blossom into a nice SF. The main attribute's I want out of my SF is to cause havoc on defense, and draw fouls by finishing at the rim. Now we all know that Josh can creat a big problem for the opposing offense, the ability to steal block are a huge factor, however can he play off ball and keep his man infront of him? I think with a little coaching he could become a very good perimeter player. As for the offense, I am not really worried about his ability to shoot, no doubt he will have to work on it being a SF but I think he will still be able to do what he does best, and take it in for the layup or the slam. What I really need to see him work on is his FT shooting and his ability to play the perimeter D. We put Horf at the 4 and all we need is a big man who specializes on D and we have a true playoff team.

Now I mainly read on here and dont post much, I simply dont know enough about basketball to get into any kind of in depth argument. However I was thinking that we should try to acquire Goran Dragic from Phoenix. He is a prototype PG, he has great court vision, can pass the ball well, and get's to the basket well. Steve Nash will be with the Suns for at least two more years, and dragic will be sitting the bench for that time. Phoenix knows that he is a great player so they wont give him up terribly cheap. So how about this we give them Teauge and Marvin for Dragic. What do yall think?

What is your plan to upgrade our point guard?
-
Let's hope him and craw can get in a rythm, the Raptors are going to give us all they have.

The phins need a wr that Henne can rely on, they should take Golden Tate. A lot of people think Clausen made Tate look good at ND, but alot of Td's to Tate are from Clausen throwing deep off of his back foot. Tate bailed out the Irish a lot, he can be a relaible target for henne.

I have only been on this forum since January and the only thread I have seen you make are troll threads and negative threads about JJ, not counting the hilarious one were you guaranteed Marvin would score 30 points. So seriously why the hell do you keep posting?
