Mitch Robinson isn't nearly as good as Capela. How is this even a thought?

He barely get touches and games like this make you regret giving him touches. His ball handling and hands need a lot of work. I honestly don't see a player worth more than 12-14 mil per year at this time.
Dre got to get better. His shooting has gotten worse than last year.
How does a 6'8 wing have 0 assists and 0 rebounds in 31 minutes

Seeing Hunter live, I see why he gets no rebounds or deflections or steals. He is not a physical player AT ALL. He has the clear mismatch on offense tonight. If he were stronger and more athletic, he'd force the Heat to guard him with Jimmy or PJ.
And Kevin is a solid role player who just has poor defensive awareness. His offense is solid but he doesn't have that killer in him.
The wings are the obvious weak link on this team, and the entire league knows it.
This is an awesome point. There is no way they should be able to put Struss on hunter.

Delon is now +14 on the game but Nate refuses to ride him. Please extend his minutes we need his hustle.

Trae isn't attacking at all. Is he shook?
To be fair though, no one is giving him a real screen.

To hear Trae say tht really suggests that he's really fed up and he didn't trust his coach to say anything or enough about it.
Because nate doesn't say anything. How has he not gotten a tech or a fine yet this series? It's unbelievable. Really losing faith in Nate.

Nate was a fool never to play Dieng -- we needed his size and his shooting, Miami plays physical and killed us in the paint. OO is too small and could not box out Bam or Dedmon and Collins was pathetic playing the 5 spot....
Seriously I been saying this too! OO is getting son'd out there and we have no spacing when he is on the floor. We need to get Dieng in the game and try 5 out. We ran that against the Cavs and it turned the game around immediately. Nate don't wanna get away from his f***in rotation.
I'm heated tonight.

I don't have a huge issue with Nate's rotations so far this series, He has limited Okonguw extended Delon and outside of that not sure what else he can do. We are down too many pieces right now.
Why can't Delon get more minutes? He has a huge impact every time he's on the floor but somehow his minutes are limited so Huerter can get blown by and be forced to foul over and over? What happened to Nate's supposed defensive identity? Huerter had 5 fouls down the stretch so he couldnt body up on D. Wright had 2 steals and 0 fouls.
Dude was +8 in 29 minutes and he had the best +- of anyone who played >20 mins in the last game too. Please please Nate give Delon starters minutes and see what happens.

Hunter was the only reason Butler just didn't go full MJ today. Blame Hunter if you want but he was the only player outside of Bogi who I am okay with right at this moment.
I gave Trae a mulligan for game 1 but this shit was unacceptable
Butler scored 45 on 25 shots. How can you praise Hunter for that?

Well, his impact is clearly not seen by a lot of people here...
I mean, typically when talking about player fit people aren't expected to go full GM and complete a roster rebuild. Also, I have no idea what Utah would want in a trade so it's pretty much impossible to say how to backfill who goes out without knowing... let's say we give up Bogi/Capela and a pick for Gobert. We extend Wright for 2 years at $9M/year, extend Hunter for $18M/year for 4 years, figure out how to get off the Gallo $5M dead cap, bring Sharife up, and you have ~$10M left to fill out the roster that does not have glaring holes. I'd vote for gritty defenders and another ball handling wing if we could find it. I think this roster could contend with some luck and development
Trae would have to have the shoulders of atlas to carry this roster on offense. I like the idea of shoring up the defense, but we go into scoring droughts with bogi and Gallo on the roster, imagine how much of a struggle it would be to score with Trae sitting a few minutes for a breather.

Was it weird to anyone else that JC was more than likely on a minutes restriction but played like 10 minutes in a row twice? Sort of a strange way to ramp someone up.

Miami embraces physical play with this mentality:
"If you foul 3 times on every possession then the refs won't call all of them because they don't have the patience or desire to get attention for calling fouls on 20 consecutive possessions and so they will swallow the whistle most of the time. Do this and you can get away with 70% of your fouls and make life much harder for the opponent. The best part is that if the opponent is playing clean the refs will probably reach for fouls to call against them so that it doesn't seem so 'lopsided' with all the calls going against one team."
Sad, but true.

Looks like the Pelicans are going through the same struggles we were with the heavy legs. They had a season low 34 in the first half and are shooting 26% from 3.
ok mb not they are within 8 in the 3rd.
