  1. Born in 1996 . . birthday in September. So he's 20 right now.
  2. It reminds me of the run that Randolph Childress went on during the ACC Tournament, back in the day.
  3. TJ Leaf maybe? Still hoping for Swanigan.
  4. If they wanted Zach Collins, that means that TJ Leaf will be our pick, if he falls to us. That would be such a "Bud" pick. At least TJ can shoot and catch lobs.
  5. LOOK!! Here comes the Hawks pick approaching!!
  6. Charlotte's "shooting" lineup PG - Kemba G - Monk F - Batum F - Marvin C - Kaminsky That would be a nice change of pace lineup in the middle of a half.
  7. Definitely fake. But I'd do that in a heartbeat.
  8. So you're mad at her for telling the truth?
  9. Because there are a lot of bad GMs in the league.
  10. LOL . . . he hardly ever posted unless it was cap related topics. And you still hated him? I know you're capable of "hating", but not actual "hate". Shocking.
  11. SMH . . yeah you got it on automatic today. Zinger after zinger.
  12. I'm not sure if that is class . . . or a slap in the face. That dude literally got traded out of the blue, similar to what happened to Dominique. I guess the Twitter account felt they had to show some "class", since Dwight show the "class" first. And was this today? Dude is still literally working in the community, despite being traded. Kojak's plan better work, or his azz will be ran out of here in 3 years. Trust and believe that he doesn't have 7 years to build something. No way in hell.
  13. Ummm . . yes they do. Without production, you can't win. That;s why the Hawks got bounced. They couldn't stop people and they couldn't produce enough positive stats to beat the Wiz. Dwight played his role last year. He crashed the boards. He served as a deterrent at the rim ( even without the blocks ). And he scored at a very high rate when he did get the ball. Last year's squad had so many flaws. Dwight's play doesn't even rank in the top 5 of those flaws. Heck, Bud's coaching last year was a bigger detriment to the team, than Dwight's so-called lackluster play. His decisions cost this team 6 - 8 games, due to him sticking by Baze when he couldn't hit the broad side of school building . . his benching of Dennis after the All-Star break ( which threw Dennis and the team off ) . . and his refusal to play Prince and Bembry meaningful until damn near the All-Star break.
  14. LOL .. that guy averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds last season. Almost every fan at the beginning of last season would've taken that in a heartbeat from Dwight. He actually had one of his most efficient seasons ever, despite the lower usage rate. People act like guys can get double-doubles at the drop of a hat. Al Horford couldn't. Josh Smith couldn't. Theo Ratliff couldn't. Zaza Pachulia couldn't. Only Dikembe in the last 20 years has done what Howard did at center last season. And he was the one guy on the team whose production never waned. It wasn't until the playoffs, when he couldn't get the ball, that he became "worthless". It's crazy. People never expected him to be the Superman version of Dwight like he was in 2009, 2010. But when he doesn't cover up for the shortcomings of the other players, all of a sudden he's worthless? We virtually had no backup PG and no SF support for most of the year. And we had to put the 6th man off the bench into the starting lineup, because Baze was playing so bad. But yet, Dwight is the "chemistry killer"? LOL . . that's why he said he was going to shoot 3s. If everybody else can shoot them and miss, he may as well too. Maybe they would've rebounded some of his misses.
  15. I think more people are mad that we also gave Charlotte the #31 pick, a player that possibly could've cracked the rotation off the bench as a rookie. That's essentially a late 1st round pick that we just gave away to Charlotte; The Hornets were like . . . "You want to give us who and what? You're joking right? You're not joking? OK . . . . you sure? OK deal, and you can't take it back . . alright?"
  16. I agree. Having said that, I'm definitely on the pessimistic side of things, but anything can happen during the free agency period. I would've still been more impressed if he traded Baze. Trading Howard was easy, because he still has value in the league . . especially when you take back pennies on the dollar for him.
  17. LOL . . you pulled that out of nowhere.
  18. UT alumni Speaking of that . . you're on the clock GEORGIA TECH. We're coming right into your backyard, looking to kick that azz. We're gonna bless M-B Stadium the correct way. Matter of fact, let's make it a double . . with Tennessee State beating Georgia State in their new stadium as well, at Turner Field. Doesn't look like I can look forward to basketball, so I may as well gear up for football season.
  19. LOL . . I'm also a Bengals, a Vols, and a Reds fans . . . so being a Hawks fan is kinda easy. My new position at work will free me up to go to a lot more games next year, if I choose. But I'm not wasting money on a bad product . . unless they're playing another bad team and they can get a victory. If they are below playoff level, I hope at least they're competitive at home and are over .500. If not, I'll pass on going to watch them live, until ownership makes the effort to put a solid team together. Best case scenario for the Hawks, is if the kids gel, and play like Miami did last season.
  20. And this time, it was Dwight.
