  1. Well . . . with 2 games to go, to see who gets the final 2 spots in the Final Four, this Tournament Challenge basically comes down to the Kentucky vs North Carolina game. And from what I can see, only 2 people can win this thing.
  2. WWWD ( What Would Woody Do? ) Check out this box score from the 2008 season, in which the Hawks were a sub .500 team, but in position to make the playoffs for the first time in 8 years. http://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=280402001 Look at the minutes played for the Hawks. That's what Bud may need to do, in order to make the playoffs.
  3. The guards have been trying to take over the offense. It's just that Dennis had been sucking and Delaney was giving you nothing. THJ was at least steady. The Hawks definitely played well enough to win yesterday. They just had no answer for Giannis.
  4. LOL @ saying that the Bulls and Pistons suck ass, when we've lost 6 in a row and have only 5 wins since the All-Star break. Only Sacramento ( 3 ) and the LA Lakers ( 2 ), have less wins after the All-Star break, than we do.
  5. I would have gone to a 7 man rotation ( 8 at the most ), once I saw the bench sucked.
  6. I still say try Bembry as the primary ball handler with that 2nd unit. Delaney is giving us nothing nathin. At least give Bembry a chance to go at or shoot over a smaller guard.
  7. RIP ARIZONA Welp . . it's all about UCLA now.
  8. Turning point of the game was the no foul call on Humphries drive to the basket in the 4th quarter. Hawks were up 4 at that point. 2 FTs puts us up 6. Instead, the Wiz fly down the court and get an easy dunk. And on the next possession, they hit a 3 to take the lead. So instead of the Hawks being up 6, they're down 1, in a span of 30 seconds. But 10 turnovers by Dennis . . . horrible turnovers at that. Unacceptable.
  9. Damn. When you write a post in blood, you know it's serious and you mean it.
  10. He was out there playing like drunk Serena Williams
  11. Interesting lineup by Bud Dennis and Hardaway at the guards . . . the Lightskin Posse on the frontline ( Dunleavy, Ilyasova, Humphries )
  12. Just a weak fight through by Dennis, that led to that offensive rebound. Wizards now have the lead. Not good, going into the end of this quarter, and the bench about to hit the floor.
  13. This game will be won or lost by the bench. They have to hold the fort when Dwight and Dennis goes out. And Bud can't let the game get out of hand. Another near turnover by Dennis. Just trying to do too dang much. Meanwhile, Hardaway can't even get a shot.
  14. Glad to see the Hawks getting Dwight some touches on the inside. You have to keep the defense honest with inside play, when your jumpers aren't falling. And Dwight with 2 for 2 on that FT trip. 10 pts - 8 rebs . . +12 for the game so far
  15. Hawks perimeter guys are so weak fighting around those screens. Too many guys open for 3s.
  16. Ilyasova only played 11 minutes in that 1st half, so expect big minutes for him in the 2nd half, if this game stays tight . . . . . I guess.
  17. Hardaway Jr balling at this point. Hawks starters have looked excellent. Bud CAN'T throw that garbage bench lineup out on the floor anymore, without a scorer. If he's going to play Delaney, I'd much rather he put him in the game early with the starters, and let Dennis play with some of the bench guys. LOL @ Dwight and Dennis in those last 3 possessions. Come on guys. Get your head out of your asses.
  18. And the lead evaporates as soon as he goes to it. I refuse to believe that Bembry can't do exactly what Delaney is doing right now . . . which is nothing.
  19. It's like last year in the playoffs, when Bud was opting to go with Moose instead of Humphries. We were getting destroyed on the boards, and Moose was giving us nothing. Then Horford started getting destroyed as well. The fans knew that Humphries should've been playing the entire time. Bud waits until he's basically out of options until going to Hump, who produces almost immediately. While he's a much better coach, he's also more stubborn than Woody ever was.
  20. Pull out ALL of the stops man. If you're not going to play Calderon, you might as well go with guys who are bigger than most PGs. The Delaney experiment should be over. He can't defend. He can't shoot from distance. And he can't get to the rim. The only positive to his game, is his midrange jumper. That's it. And I definitely DON'T want to see him in the game alongside Schröder anymore. Analytics show that he has positive numbers, but the eye test show that HE'S not a factor in those positive numbers. If anything, he's riding off the coattails of a hot Hardaway Jr At this point, I'd much rather see Bembry at the backup PG, and see if he can at least play defense on backup PGs. We know he can pass the ball and lead the fast break in transition. I could care less if he can't consistently hit the 3 ball. Hell, Delaney shoots worse from 3, than Josh Smith ever did.
  21. Thank you South Carolina !!! You're actually in the lead. We're all chasing you now.
  22. Congrats on signing a 2 year deal. And he's still balling . . . looking like another J-Craw on the West Coast
  23. Perfect time to move Prince into the starting lineup. Bud won't do it though. He'll start THj or even do something like start Delaney and Dennis together.
